A Californian explains why Amendment V would create the worst election system in the nation, providing less choice.

This was recently left in a comment on my website, and offers a unique view from a Californian who – living under a similar system – believes Amendment V would create the worst election system in the nation.

He notes it sets up both incumbents and rich people to dominate elections in the state.

Take a few minutes and check it out.

  1. and we want this worse than California System in our state Constitution? I think not….

    NO on V!

  2. We cannot possibly consider the point of view from a Californian! Please stop this outsider influence!

  3. “He notes it sets up both incumbents and rich people to dominate elections in the state.”

That sounds just like our current system.

    1. if democrats want more votes in the state, all they ever have to do is FIND OUT WHAT VOTERS WANT, SHOVE THE REPUBLICANS OVER, AND SERVE THE VOTERS. stop playing national politics and pro-communist-marxist blather at people. nobody’s buying it here. i think herseth sandlin knew this going in, but eventually couldn’t take her own party beating her down so much so she went over to losertown where they all were. the first democrat to revive a national conservative leadership conference will start to save the party in this state. the blue dogs had no bark or bite.
