South Dakota reporter added to White House enemies list
Unintentionally, it must be a “Mercer Monday,” based on the things I’m inspired to write about today.
The latest? Without meaning to do so, after being invited to participate in a White House press briefing, it sounds like South Dakota Political Reporter Bob Mercer has been added to the White House Enemy List along with Fox News and the US Chamber of Commerce:
I was invited to participate in a regional reporters’ call-in organized by the White House on health insurance. On the other end were four state insurance regulators (none from South Dakota) and a member of the White House team. I participated and even was allowed to ask a question.
The question to the regulators was, What is an acceptable rate of return for an insurance company on health insurance?
Within hours, I received an e-mail telling me that the e-mail service had been stopped at my request. Except I didn’t request it.

Apparently Decorum Forum is on the War College’s enemies list. Sibby’s posts are listed at right. Decorum Forum’s entries are not.
(Bob, while I understand you’re susceptible to paranoia, the feeds are not instantaneous, and can take an hour or two to update from the time the feeds are generated on your end. -PP)
