NO to more taxes in any form

NO to rationed health care

NO to ‘Death Panels’

NO to a government take over of the health care industry.

Troy, the “dung” isn’t out yet. It’s being polished as we speak. (wink)
“Medicare for Everybody” would have been so much simpler. But actually, I like Sam Hurst’s idea. Move Medicare back 10 years to age 55 and cover everyone under 18. Then work the rest out with insurance companies. That gives the insurance companies a chance to see if they want to play ball or not, and the proponents of Single Pay an opportunity to prove their case.

I know one shouldn’t take anyone for granted but this doesn’t surprise me a bit.

I hear the bell tolling for the liberal solutions to health care.

Lincoln, Nelson, and Lieberman are out. Byrd is missing votes. Webb, Landrieu, Dorgan, Bayh and others are at best “non-committal.” And others are expressing “reservations.” In a month, there might not even be 50 votes for this piece of dung.
