What on earth are you doing reading a blog today?  It’s thanksgiving!

(I’m quickly jotting this down during a commercial break in parade coverage.)

Enjoy your family, friends, fellowship and bounty.  Give thanks, and remember those overseas who can’t be with their families this holiday.

I am reading the blog to get away from family who I rather not spend too much time with. (you know that uncle that nobody talks about)

I finished 2 (yes 2) turkey TV dinners and an entire can of jellied cranberry and am now curmudgeling at the window watching all the children visiting the neighbors to make sure they don’t come on my lawn. I’m positive the neighbors are seething liberals.

Grud, canned jelled cran??? If I’d have known, we had extra, pear, rasberry, walnut, cran mix fresh cooked and no darn lib’s crawling around my yard. They know I’m crazy! Course, you might just be funnin me too? Even with all the libs crawling around this great country, we do have more to be thankful for than we will recognize in this lifetime! Be blessed.

Les from foreign laptop above.

We had the Works! Still full, but can always eat more.

Thanks for the thoughts, Les.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

grudznick at 8:05… I nominate this as Post of the Year. Ironic and truly funny at the same time. I salute you!
