I have been reading this controversy for a couple of days, and I wonder on what premise to you allow yourself to be so judgmental. You yourself have attacked hillbillies and those who live in the Ozarks. Further, you claim to know the identity of the blogger who started the bigotry toward hillbillies, and refuse to out him. Seems like you are quick to out anonymous bloggers you disagree with, but go self-righteous when it is with a blogger you agree with.
Oh. He was serious?
For those who follow the blogosphere’s inside baseball: Aside from the fact that recently I was noting information on a few people who were “claiming anonymity,” but posted their names on their website under a mysterious and secret website area section entitled “Who are we?“, I think Sibby is otherwise referring to SD Blog Watch Man. And his identity was actually well guarded.
In a fit of mirth, and inbetween referring to Sibby as a hillbilly, he double dog dared people to figure out he was. And I managed to do just that…. in 2005.
Yes, Steve. I accept that after you’re done crusading against Al Capp, I’m done in Arkansas, and Southern Missouri. And in a specific cubicle at Toshiba American in Mitchell.
But guess what?
I’m still not going to tell you who SD Blog Watch Man was.

While I’m not the SDBWM, I do know who he is.
And you’ll continue to go another 5 or ten years without knowing if he’s your next door neighbor, Todd Epp in disguise, or Randall Beck who would poke fun at your intelligence or lack thereof.
I don’t know if that comforts you, but life goes on, and you can safely return to cutting and pasting chuck norris, steven segall, or whoever.

Powers outed the Badland Blues bloggers, so I called him out for not being consistent. I have moved on from the partisan Democrat/Republican feud and now stand on American principles and hold both sides accountable to the same standards.
