Oh, come on PP. How many of those dingy “polls” (i.e. Family Policy Council?) I’ve seen and been subjected to on the phone over the last several years have you written? These choices are quite leading and obviously not designed for any sincere supporter (or potential supporter) of Hanks who saw the flyer for what it was..business as usual in politics, with even a little twist of common sense. You guys just can’t get used to a little dissension within the ranks, can you? How about “the flyer hit the nail on the head” for a choice?
Having an ad erupt at the last campaign moments is commonplace… “Nut (sometimes called gonad) ads” may possibly reveal an inherent sign of sexual dysfunctional disorder. When an ad creator & client resort to this low level, it is often “a cry for help.”
It is just another example of how Hanks talks out of both sides of his mouth. He pledged a clean and positive campaign and then does the flyer (which was definitely negative. It could be construed as having anti-Christian bigotry about it.) He says he didn’t know and had no control (of the flyer) then he says he knew about it and approved it. He will tell one one thing and something else toy another. Even PP has had experience with this character flaw.
Like Adelstein, he seems to have the notion that he’s there to rule rather than represent. We’ll see how he does. I would like to see a rematch between Sam and Hanks in two years. ![]()
So #5, what did Bill Clinton do that this reminds you of? Can’t cite anything? Just trying to take a shot at a successful Democrat without any facts? You’re a pathetic loser!
By the way, this was an all-Republican contest. Way to drag the democrats in and try to blame them. Did I mention you’re an idiot?
Oh, so you want me to cite something. O.K. IT STINKS! Alan’s campaign was dirty politics at its best. He was talking out of both sides of his mouth. First Alan said he didn’t have anything to do with the flyer and then after he won he took full credit. There, is that good enough? For you # 6, you are no better with your play ground style name calling! Oh, what the hell, name calling worked for Alan Hanks. Grow up!
I can’t believe you needed this pointed out to you.
5 and 7. Hey Dumbass. Still waiting for you to explain how the Hanks thing came out of Bill Clinton’s playbook instead of the Lee Atwater/Karl Rove playbook.

None of the above. I’m a Sam supporter and didn’t like the flier, but hey, it’s a political campaign. You use what tactics you can. Somebody had an idea, and they went with it. The only thing that offends me is that Hanks wouldn’t admit until after the election that he was directly involved in it. That showed a lack of guts. If you do something, you should stand behind it.
