Hot tip just off the press - Sam Kephart meeting with Minnesota Consultant this weekend.
I just got a hot tip from one of my spies who is out and about in Rapid City’s dining establishments this evening, and observed a couple of people that looked familiar.
Apparently South Dakota Republican US Senate Hopeful Sam Kephart is taking a dinner meeting with Minnesota Political Consultant Bill Hillsman, author of the book “Run the other way: Fixing the two party system.”Hillsman is probably best known for helping outsiders Paul Wellstone (in his senatorial campaign), as well as Jesse Ventura’s gubernatorial, and Ralph Nader’s presidential campaigns.
Hillsman has a website at www.billhillsman.com. But the website you probably want to look at if (it’s a meeting to talk business as opposed to a casual meeting) is Hillsman’s advertising firm at www.northwoodsadvertising.com.
On the website, it’s noted that the Northwoods company led Ned Lamont to victory over Lieberman in the 2006 Connecticut Democratic Primary.
