Kevin Woster Hildygate story hits newspapers across SD today
Courtesy of the Associated Press, the Hildygate story that Kevin Woster filed with the Rapid City Journal is starting to filter through newspapers in the Dakotas. The Yankton Daily Press and Dakotan, as well as the Fargo-Moorehead Forum both picked up the story.
I suspect we’ll hear of more reports of coverage filtering in.

maybe this has something to do with the claim that Chad Schuldt used to work at the Argus Leader
maybe one more scandal like this will put this newspaper over the edge and it will finally implode from people’s disgust with it
Yup, the argus will wait until mitchell, brookings, watertown, and aberdenn print the story, then they will have to stick a small story in their paper on the 9th page just so they can say, ya ya we covered it too…5 days later.
We need a statewide daily newspaper in South Dakota. You can get the Omaha World Herald in western Nebraska on the day published but you cannot get the Argus Leader (not that we really want it) on the same day in Rapid City or vice versa. PP you need to get the funds together and launch South Dakota’s version of USA TODAY except it won’t be crappy.
Patti,
How about a non partisan paper that actually reports news instead of either burying it, or trying to create it? The Argus would fold fast, if it had any reasonable competition.

The Argus Leader’s treatment of this story is absolutely scandalous. The Sioux Falls newspaper can’t cover the story but the FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA PAPER DOES!!
what idiot is making the decisions at the Argus? is it the same idiot who smeared Dan Scott?
