Vote for me!
Ok, I’m running.
Not for anything that the public at large has to vote for, mind you. For the only thing I’d be interested in, there isn’t an open State House seat here, and I have no reason to challenge the ones here. They do a good job.
What am I running for? Actually, I managed to finagle a nomination as one of the three McCain delegates from Brookings County tonight. So on March 15th, I’m going to Pierre to attempt to run as a delegate (or alternate) on the regional level and statewide.
So, any of you other McCain delegates out there, I would appreciate your vote.

As strange as it may seem, I voted for a McCain delegate tonight in Rapid City.
I looked up from my ballot and to my surprise, the world was still here.
Will wonders never cease?
By the way, the delegate nominee for whom Stan Adelstein spoke in favor didn’t do too well (last place among 5).
The meetings were state-wide tonight at the county seat for each county that held them. Some probably aren’t organized.
If you missed the meeting tonight, you are out of luck and will have to wait for four years. Get involved with your county party, that way you will know when the time comes again. Each county is required to put a notice in the paper of the upcoming meeting, but that is easy to miss.
Actually, William IS VERY involved with his county party. I’m not sure what the issue with the communications breakdown was for his area.
Pat, you know when I’m the only person from my county to show up for meetings and events, there’s a communication problem =|;)
Pat:
Good luck in your run. Glad to see you saw the light and moved from Master Thespian Thompson to Grumpy Old Man McCain.
Depending on how things go with my party, I may be joining you in your support of McCain. I’m not sure I can stomach Hillary as my party’s nominee.
In the meantime, I’m 1000% behind the Man Crush, Sen. Barack “Dreamy” Obama.

Pat / Todd,
Think I can get in as a Thompson delegate? Oh, that’s right, it’s the OTHER party that’s going to have the really wild convention =|;)

Pat, how does one get in the running to become a delegate? Since I live in a different county, you can tell me – lol
McCain wasn’t my 1st choice, nor my second for that matter, but he’s my guy now and I want to wear a funny hat, jump up and down on the convention floor and in general be a McCainiac at the convention.
