Canton, S.D. – The Joel Dykstra for Senate Campaign announces another exciting campaign development with the launch of a new website this week.
The updated joeldykstraforsenate.com site reflects the recent progress in the campaign and the momentum and energy building toward the June 3 Primary Election.
The website features much more content for current and potential supporters and news media to view, including more photos from the campaign trail, social network integration and expanded news information.
“Social networking tools such as Facebook, YouTube and our campaign blog will allow our supporters to stay up-to-date on the action in this campaign,” Dykstra said. “The web site will be the primary hub for staying in touch with people from all areas of the state.”
The website will be updated throughout the campaign, ultimately utilizing the site to communicate daily to South Dakota voters about key issues, campaign events and fundraising efforts. “Through the website supporters can participate in the campaign and follow us as we travel around the state. It will allow me to share my ideas and vision about how together we can change the direction of the U.S. Senate to help our state and nation,” he said.
Voters can also gain valuable insight about Dykstra as a candidate by watching personalized video clips or browsing through the various pages detailing his background and position on a variety of important campaign issues. “By spending just a few minutes on my website voters can learn more about my platform on health care, education, energy independence, national security and the economy. Campaign supporters can also let us know if they want to volunteer, host an event or display a campaign sign,” stated Dykstra.
Dykstra also invites voters to use the website to provide input and ideas for the campaign. They can post comments on the blog or get involved through the “Action Center”.
Users can visit the new site at www.joeldykstraforsenate.com.

So now, does Dykstra have file for a $5 in-kind donation from PP for this new blog sales pitch and another $5 for each anti-Johnson screed PP posts? This could get interesting. That’s the way I read the notice from the SOS.
Plus, how does $5 for a great big long post (pro or con) compare with the cost per square inch for the ads at the left.
Something’s starting to smell kinda funny around here.
PP could end up sifting through a big can of accounting worms if he’s not careful, and taking up all the space he used to devote snooping in to everybody else’s finance issues just trying to cover his own f**k ups.
Ah, sigh. Remember when you were just a blogger, PP?
Those were the days, huh?
As usual, BF is taking things to idiotic extremes.
What about the Democratic letters and press releases that PP has posted on? Or Libertarian? What happened to having a right to an opinion?
In the end, I’m left remembering that BF promised us all to go away. What ever happened to that?
I did go away, now I’m back. I’m serious. I just don’t want to see PP get in trouble. He posted the SOS recommendation and the law. Did you read them Joe?
By my read, people who get promo on blogs have to report it, especially if it comes from another candidate. I could be wrong, and in fact hope that I am. In the meantime, (wait for it…. wait for it… one more beat…)
I’m just sayin’.
This is a news/opinion site. PP has the right to state his opinions about candidates and campaigns without reporting that as a contribution. If you put a bumper sticker on your car for “Pat Powers for Senate” (for example), PP doesn’t have to turn that in as an in-kind contribution either.
California RINO and a little-known legislator. Whooppee. Way to go SDGOP for not recruiting a better candidate. We’re screwed.

You can go all the way back to thank Janklow for that. When Janklow was in office, he prohibited anyone from having more limelight time than him. If you wanted to ascend and he didn’t like you on a particular day, you were toast. I’ve seen/heard of this numerous times. He had or has no allegiance other than himself. Look at what he’s done thus far, represented (for a short time until they canned him) the Mayo Clinic against DM & E. A project that could rejuvinate many SD towns.
These attitudes and carnage survive to this very day. The egos of hasbeens and neverwases in the GOP are amazing. They have no chance, no metal, but there’s no better choices because of infighting and lack of selfless vision. The SDGOP should be mentoring, elevating and promoting new stars of the party, not crushing them because of overinflated GOP egos and a gullible populous. Screwed indeed.

Wow….Joel has a website….Tim is in for it now.
