After a couple of years and a couple of elections facing Stan Adelstein’s checkbook, Bill Napoli must be smiling. Why? Because he can go after his arch-nemesis without any fear of repercussions:
Adelstein, after six years of service, has one of the worst legislative records in recent history. Adelstein constantly showed up late or completely missed meetings. One year, while he was vicechair of the Appropriations Committee, he missed the first week of the Legislature. At one point, there was serious talk of removing him from the Appropriation committee. Adelstein introduced dozens of tax and fee increases, introduced bills, then never showed up for the committee hearings.Senator Katus has a rock solid record of attendance, courtesy during and after the legislative process, a record of much insightful and forward-thinking legislation.
When Adelstein endorsed Katus and predicted he would be a good senator, he was right! Let each candidate stand on their record (not money). I urge you to question them. Question them not only about the plans for the future, but what they did in the past, then please vote accordingly.

Fleming, for maybe the 5th time you’ve said something that makes sense. PP is just like Stan, if you look at it from Sibby’s point of view. It just depends how far left you want to go, but PP and Stan together are leaning that teetertoter over your way, Bill.
Yup, it is payback time. And Stan has it coming. Tom would not be my first pick to fill the Senate from District 32, but Adelstein would definitely be my last choice. Thanks Bill, we’ve always been able to count on you to let us know exactly what you think!!!
The latest twist in the soap opera that is District 32: One election after Stan jumped sides to support Democrat Katus, BILL NAPOLI, Stan’s archenemy, does the same! Truth is stranger than fiction.
This is one district that desperately needs a good independent candidate – This district does not have a good choice.
I disagree Napoli is doing the same thing as Stan.
Stan, (a RHINO) backed a democrat (Katus) over a republican (Schweiso(sp)).
Napoli, is backing the best of 2 democrats (Katus) running for the district 32 senate seat. He is not trashing a Republican. There are no Republicans running in that race, therefore, it cant be the same thing.
Moe – That would certainly be Napoli’s argument. The other side would be that, like him or not, Stan is on the ballot as a REPUBLICAN and therefore should get at least begrudging support. I can see both sides, but it seems to me that if you deem this to be two “Democrats” running, a typical Republican would just sit it out.

Itsnt it Ironic; the same “machine” Stan used to elect Katus will now have to choose between their own party (democrats) and supporting a democrat running as a republican. I say Katus squashes Adelstein, but I could be wrong.
Your hate and disgust for that judas of the GOP, Stan, clearly shows. I don’t blame you. He sits on his deck overlooking his lordly realm of the black hills that he owns most of and he dictates to Napoli and the little people.
Stan must go down. But at the cost of putting Katus back??????
