After helping the SDGOP get through technical heck with their new website, I think we’ve got this wordpress installation and customization licked.

The Republican Tide is fired up and ready to roll. The GOP faithful should be seeing dispatches from the party in the coming days – which you will also see indexed in the SDWC’s SD Blogosphere Update.

You might want to fix the missing “title” and “description” meta tags. Not very search engine friendly.

Almost too late, and definitely too little for this GOP effort. Case in point: There are a couple of posts criticizing Herseth (a good thing), but no mention of her GOP opponent Chris Lien and where he stands on the issues they trashed her about (a bad thing). What is wrong with you people?

#5 – It might be late, but it is not too late. 90% of the people in this state are barely paying attention to this election yet, other than McCain/Obama. And almost NO ONE is thinking about state legislative races.

In addition to what Bob said, it would help the search engine rankings if you made friendlier addresses. The WP Codex has a great tutorial on how to tweak the .htaccess to accomplish that (assuming you’re on a *nix box running Apaches).

5 here again. I tried to post a comment on Republican Tide pretty much repeating what I said in #5. The comment never saw the light of day on Republican Tide, but now there is a something from Chris about ANWR.

Herseth couldn’t win without Republican votes. The state GOP should be doing everything it can to remind real Republicans that we now that we have an excellent candidate to oppose her and that there is no reason to cross over!!!
