I stink? I probably should have gone with my other idea.
L3wis over at South DaCOla thinks I stink too? L3wis, are you conspiring with the hilbilly?
Oh man. I probably should have went with my other idea on the “Jarding behind the scene Johnson camp orchestration”

There. Is that better?

Thune is likely not commenting out of Senatorial courtesy. Even though DR. Bill Frist broke 100 years of tradition by campaigning against his counterpart, Daschle. While Thune was the beneficiary of that, I heard that he didn’t like being part of it.
So, I wouldn’t read too much into Thune not commenting.
What happened to his post where he called you a “prolific baby-maker?”
As the virile young whippersnapper that you are, just take that as a great compliment.

From KELO – looks like Thune doesn’t think this is as big of a deal as Pat and the GOP virtual echo chamber:
Thune: No Opinion On Debate
Republican U.S. Senator John Thune is taking no position on a fellow senator’s decision not to engage in any political debates for the November 4 election.
Democratic U.S. Senator Tim Johnson has decided not to debate his Republican challenger, Joel Dykstra of Canton.
Johnson cited his speech rehabilitation as the reason. The senator’s speech and movement were affected by a brain hemorrhage in December 2006.
While Thune says many South Dakotans like political debates, he says voters ultimately will pick the person they believe is most qualified.

Thune is for the radical notion that voters will ultimately pick the person to represent them in the Senate. Unlike the commenters here that know that Dykstra won’t win and are calling on Johnson to forfeit, even though every non-partisan handicapper in the business has said Johnson is pretty much a shoe-in. And that will be the case regardless as to how many hours Pat spends playing around with photoshop.
