SDWC’s Most Wanted: Elvis “Jake” Hanes
There’s someone out on the streets with a warrant out for their arrest. And I want you to help him be brought to justice.
According to the latest, Elvis “Jake” Hanes is a wanted man.
Currently, on charges of driving without a license for which he didn’t show up to answer the charges, the court has a bench warrant for failure to appear which is currently set as a “no bond” warrant. And there’s also a warrant for a separate charge of misdemeanor failure to appear with a $500 cash bond attached.
The suspect’s last known address was reported (as part of a political donation to Ron Paul) as living on GRUMMAND AVE in Tea, South Dakota, where he noted his occupation as a “Carpenter.”
But thanks to your tips – maybe we can BOX him in, as we try to bring this fugitive to justice.
Suspect was last sighted on KELOland where he noted that “he doesn’t need a piece of plastic to drive his vehicle” as he was asking a judge to dismiss his case. A motion that was soon denied.
If you see this man, do not approach him. Especially if he’s holding any Ron Paul materials. He may be accompanied by his wife who has to drive him around, since he got caught without a license.
You can report his whereabouts to your local law enforcement agencies.
(Curiously enough, his address used in early 2008 to make a donation to Ron Paul was the same address of Bill Stegmeier, Jail-4-Judge’s South Dakota Jailer-in-chief. However, any custody that Mr. Hanes might be in through Mr. Stegmeier isn’t recognized by any laws on this planet.)
The HUNT is ON!

“frat brothers”? Memebers of the bar won’t fight with each other? What planet did this guy wake up on?
As to the “frat brothers” description, making the point that all members of the bar are like-minded cronies, hard to picture that label on a group that includes Jim Aboureszk, Larry Pressler, Ron Schmidt, Chuck Kornmann, Bill Srstka, Nancy Turback, Bill Janklow, and Ron Volesky???
As for not being willing to fight “the system”, who does he think took on the battles that resulted in things like Due Process hearings and the right to confront accusers?
Elvis – your mother ship is calling.
