Awesome! I’ve got my Styx tix for tonight, and am greatly looking forward to it.
And it does sound as if Thune will address the delegation tomorrow before we disembark on the River Boat thing. But we will be de-thuned for the voyage.
What, a popular US Senator has work to do? Come on… Nothing can go wrong on a three hour tour. … a three hour tour…. Okay, so it didn’t work so well for Gilligan. (yes, I’m just teasing on all of that.)

I’m surprise REO Speedwagon isn’t opening for this band named after a River in Hell. When I let my kids go to a Styx concert in Rapid city, many many years ago, they were traveling with REO Speedwagon. I think I even enjoyed that band from my spot in the parking lot. I was not about to let my children’s minds be warped by that sort of rocknroll and then let the loose out on the streets so I picked them up afterwards. I hope you get escorted back to your hotel, as well, PP. Otherwise you might be driven to liberal activities after this concert.
I’ve been waiting up to hear about the groupies. Those 55+ cougar types, young gals by all accounts (at least mine) who lurk around the band. What was that like, Pat?
