I sense a definite trend as far as how South Dakotans are viewing Thune’s proposal to move us away from government ownership.

I agree it’s a good idea, but impossible to achieve by July, and Thune knows it. Just more political posturing by Ironic Johnny.

Detroit,

The poll question doesn’t represent the Thune proposal accurately. Thune has July 1, 2010. John has really nailed this though as a policy. Genious!

I’m not debating the merits of Thune’s bill. That’s another post.
But the only trend you will EVER get out of a newspaper or online poll is the passion of people motivated to register multiple votes. And nothing else.
Next you will be citing the astrology column as a guideline in how to plan your day. Please don’t.
The general public is dumbed down enough.

Troy- July 1, 2010 still isn’t enough time. Besides, Thune is only proposing this legislation so it can get shot down and he can say, “See, the Democrats don’t care – BTW, I’m up for relection, and I care.”

Well, I for one am glad for one who does care and does try. Who know, maybe some of the libs will wake up when the long arm of the gov’t starts coming for them too, and it will at this rate.

I agree with thc. I was going to post the same sentiment. I mean, think about it, PP, since you have submitted your post about the poll, neither Epp nor Fleming have even commented. I’ll bet they’ve deleted their cookies 300-400 times, though. And the poll has taken a significant turn for the worse since they’ve learned about it.

tHE SAME GUY WHO VOTED FOR THE FIRST TARP.

Go here to see the “huge” percentage of publicly traded companies the government now owns: http://business.theatlantic.com/2009/06/now_that_the_government_owns_general_motors.php

That sliver on the pie chart might also represent Thune’s credibility within the body politic. What a joke!

I quote the Argus leader polls when they support what I am saying.

I ridicule the Argus Leader polls when they go against what I am saying.
