“Auto-tune the news” is a spoof that’s gaining in popularity as a group of people are using professional recording software to spoof the media and politicians.

Watch this clip as presided over by South Dakota Senators “Junkie Einstein” and “Olga Barth.”

If that doesn’t suit your fancy Auto-tune the news #7 features Senator Angry Gorilla, also from SD.

I think these SD shout-outs are hilarious and that we can count on many more in the future.

The Gregory Brothers, who are the genius behind Auto-Tune The News, have a strong connection and love for South Dakota (and its political scene).

Evan, the oldest of the three brothers and husband of the lovely Sarah Gregory, was a staffer in the Watertown Republican Field Office in 2002.

All four Gregory “Brothers” were in state for an incredible one-night birthday performance in 2007 attended by many SD politicos.

Finally, Evan will be in Sioux Falls in a week to become godfather to @emersonweber, one of SD’s notable twitter users.

Maybe they should “Auto-Tune The War College”…PP in song would be a viral hit.

I love Auto-Tune The News! I would SO vote for Senator Angry Gorilla. Gorillas make everything better.

And that neat that they have a SD connection.
