JERSTAD GOES WILD at Olivia’s
KDLT HAS THE “Angry Jerstad” STORY ON THEIR WEBSITE.
CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TO WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SANDY JERSTAD GETS MAD!
Apparently, “Olivia’s Adult Superstore” in Tea endorsed Manny Steele and Sandy Jerstad on their marquee. And what ensued when Jerstad noticed her supporters?
She went inside and went just a little nuts! Apparently, the security tape was [...]
Turbak: Vote for me because you’re fat, and not worth the money?
Check out this ad from Nancy Turbak-Berry:
Huh?
Did ANYONE understand this ad?
First off, “Stop spending dollars on problems that should have been avoided in the first place“ What’s that supposed to mean? That your problems are your own fault, and you’re not worth spending money on? In the same breath that she’s telling us she wants [...]
SDPB Candidate videos are out. And painful to watch.
I’m sitting here watching the candidate videos on public broadcasting.
And I’m alternating between laughing and cringing. And that’s regardless of party. For example, David Ries looks and talks like a deer in the headlights. And that’s about everyone there, including Republicans. There’s not a lot of them who “make love to the camera.”
Why? There’s stiffness. [...]
RCJ has huge front page story on Dykstra today.
Joel Dykstra’s got to be loving the press coverage he’s getting lately. Last night on KELO, he got the opportunity to point out how his commerical on Johnson taking 61k of Freddie Mac & Freddie Mae payola was spot on accurate. And today, Kevin Woster has a huge front page story on his campaign.
In the [...]
Nice try Tyler. *Yawn…*
Tyler at Badlands Blue must be seeking a little cheese for his whine tonight as he cries about me taking a picture of the Dem’s resident stalker:
Back to last night’s forum. For some reason, you felt compelled to go to this one. Could it be because Jason was gonna be there?
Again, Pat, what you are [...]
Oh, how I love project vote-smart.
Oh, how I love project vote-smart. Why? It’s the best opposition research tool that’s out there.
In our day of prepackaged and prepared candidates, I have to admit that it’s getting harder and harder to catch a candidate making statements and taking positions on hot button issues (Sandy Jerstad, excepted). But, in one place, we have [...]
Even the more liberal websites find Heidepriem disingenuous
From South DaCola:
I was quite amused last night when I saw the first ad by District 13 Senate candidate Scott Heidepriem. He slips on his Italian loafers, pulls up his designer jeans, loads up his man-purse with brochures and walks out of his McKennan Park three-story mansion to talk to the Common folk in his [...]
Is not the Democratic Convention bizarre? Or am I missing something?
On Monday night, Michelle Obama made a great speech intended to convince voters that the Obama’s are just regular folks who loves America. Please! The last time America elected someone even close to a “regular folk” it was the grossly inept Jimmy Carter. American’s expect their President to be exceptional, not average and to love [...]
The hangover the next morning from a Kennedy speech. (Or, the Lion in Winter… who forgot his pants)
You know, while some of my friends on the opposite side of the aisle (such as fellow SD Blogger, Todd Epp at SD Watch) are gushing over Ted Kennedy’s speech, there’s a few things I just can’t get past whenever Ted Kennedy’s name is mentioned….
At the trial, Cassone spoke about what happened: “Patrick and I [...]
10 Questions with…… State Senator Tom Katus
It’s time for another 10 questions feature, and this time, I’ve got a bit of a twist.
Yes, we’re reviewing the candidates from District 32. But in this installation, Democratic State Senator Tom Katus has agreed to enter “the Lions Den” and give us some insight into what might be the #1 2008 State Senate race [...]
SD Watch Bombshell misfires - yes, Bradford CAN run as a Republican.
My internet commentating friend over at SD Watch (Todd Epp) thought he was dropping a bombshell back at the GOP this afternoon. But at the end of the day, that bomb was a dud as State Democratic Party officials were left high and dry when they found out that, as usual, Republicans had it right [...]
Breaking News: Democratic Legislator Switches parties to the SDGOP
You asked for it, you’ve got it - here’s the State Republican Party’s bombshell this AM:
