Internet Explorer users “are kind of stupid,” says study

According to the study, Internet Explorer 6 users were the dumbest with Internet Explorer 8 users performing slightly better. Firefox, Chrome and Safari were in the middle, while Internet Explorer with Chrome Frame and Camino were at the top as having better IQs than the rest.

We’ve been had! Internet Explorer users might not be dumb after all

The BBC launched an investigation after reporting on the story themselves, and found that the Canadian site AptiQuant and its test results aren’t real.

Whoops! Did someone forget to do their homework?  Investagate before posting the first story.

Two of the things that I have learned don’t take anyone’s word for anything, and ALWAYS confirm your facts with at least one other independent source. Being first to print/report/post isn’t always better than being right.

My guess is Ysolt Usigan will be more vigilant about what get posted on on the future.
