  1. “A party is forthcoming at Judge’s (the friend) on this. “Calendar Date” is yet to have been determined…. Please note, that “Beach Week,” however, may need to be postponed or cancelled, inorder, to fulfill this most joyous reality….”

    1. Nope. I am surprised he made it through, though. I thought Collins and Manchin knew better. But you know what the late John McCain use to say, “Elections have consequences.”

        1. good point. so many democrats express outrage and disgust when republicans don’t abandon their own party. they shouldn’t put themselves through such an emotional wringer.

  2. The hypocrisy of the Dems is laughable. Obama admitted to drugs, Bill Clinton committed assault, Hillary excoriated his accusers ( where were the me too protestors then?), Keith Ellison has proof of his assault on his past girlfriend but is now attorney general in MN. But nary a peep out of the left on these. They need to just (in their own vernacular) shut up and accept Kavanaugh. The Republicans weren’t ecstatic about the Obama appointments but knew that they were qualified and didn’t resort to the Democrat tactics, even though it was apparent those appointees were likely to lean liberal.

    1. Your Democratic examples are all politicians who are or were subjected to the voters, who had or will have the final say, but Kavanaugh is a product of representative democracy and not direct democracy.

      1. Sotomayer and Kagan also have lifetime appointments and are not subject to the voters. In fact, if I am not mistaken, all of the other six justices have lifetime appointments. They are also the product of representative democracy. What has Kavanaugh done that makes him unfit for the court? At least he has more experience than say Justice Kagan. All we have is someone making unsupported accusations which he vehemently denies. The accuser has changed her story several times and loses her credibility. I fail to see your point.

        1. Well, first of all I am glad they found Mr. Judge who was hiding out at his Delaware beachhome (Oh, how I opine for the days of old, when there once was a “BeachWeek.”).

Secondly, it is not logical to inject elected officials like Obama, the Clintons, and Ellison into this debate, when they were elected by the people and not appointed to their positions (Well, except for Hillary’s SOS position.).

And thirdly, Sotomayer and Kagan’s pasts have not been put into question have they? And if experience is the new issue, then you have become tangent to the debate and you are actually gaslighting……

And if someone accused you of a rape you did not do, wouldn’t you sue? Boy, I sure would…. Oh, and by the way, I am still waiting for OJ to hire the private investigator to find the “real killer,” too.

          1. Not sure a lawsuit is viable. I am sure Kavanaugh would like to sue, but let’s face it, it would be about impossible to seat an impartial jury. I believe the person commenting on the injection of elected officials just points to your lack of outrage for those people. As for the remarks about the other justices, I was just pointing out they have lifetime appointments as well. Justice Kavanaugh is one of the most highly regarded people chosen for the SCOTUS. It is a shame someone brought up unfounded accusations at the 11th hour to try to derail this good man’s appointment for political reasons. As for Mark Judge, I do not know that he was hiding. He gave a statement under penalty of felony. When the FBI interviewed him again, he said the same thing. The investigation was nothing more than a stall tactic. You are not saying you actually believe that fairy tale Dr. Ford told us, do you?

            1. I believe Dr. Ford, yes. Or, at least enough for a more thorough FBI investigation than what we ended up with.

              1. Don’t you love our Republic? We are led by a false majority that is held up by the mechanics of our Republic, which were meant to protect and give equal footings to the interests of a minority, but instead further empower a minority interest, whose powers outside the structure of the Republic are greater than the obvious majority, and which are further protected with a legitimacy within the Republic, that was never meant for such….

                1. People keep bringing up a possible future civil war breaking out including a now retired Marine officer who worked at the Pentagon who never thought we would face such a threat from within. I sure hope not.

  3. I would hope that on November 7th formal charges of perjury against anyone suspected of lying under oath have begun and that a fair and judicial search for the truth begins so the Liberal Democrat tactic of scorched Earth demagoguery being used by them today is exposed and hopefully lessens.
Jeff Sessions has a month to get his ducks in a row which if pinned up only after Mid-terms won’t affect them.

  4. “I am happy that those who try to destroy his life fell short. I’m glad that those who try to overturn the rule of law and replace it with mob rule lost. I’ve never been more pissed in my life. This is character assassination. This is wanting power too much. To the extent that I came to the aid of this good man and help defeat this debacle, I am happy as a clam.” – Senator Lindsey Graham.

Courage in his conviction. We need more of this.

Congratulations, Judge Kavanaugh! God bless him for standing firm, enduring the hell brought upon him, his wife and their children.
