Er… Not sure what to say abut this one. Happy Days actor addressing GOP Convention.

While the most recent Republican president and the last two nominees are taking a pass on attending convention, we apparently get Scott Baio addressing the Republican National Convention instead.

After Scott Baio publicly endorsed Donald Trump earlier this year, it appears as though the presumptive GOP presidential nominee has hand-picked the “Happy Days” actor to speak at the upcoming Republican National Convention.

Baio confirmed the news to Jeannie Pirro on Fox News’ “Justice With Judge Jeanine” on Saturday. The actor explained that he was at a Trump fundraiser recently when the politician personally asked him to speak at the convention.

“He had given a speech and he was walking out,” he said. “I looked at him and said, ‘Mr. Trump, Scott Baio,’ and he goes, ‘Oh my God,’ and he said to me, ‘Did you want to speak?’ and I went, ‘Here?’ and he goes, ‘No, no, no, at the convention.’”

Read it here.

I’m not sure what you say to that, other than it’s still better than if Hillary Clinton was president.

  1. None of this matters as long as Glodt is there with the Grassroots express and his army of volunteers. That thing almost single handily won the US Senate race for Rounds with all of the grassroots volunteers it brought in. He is a machine and he is among the best in the game! Whoever gets him for 2018 will have the edge. Trust me. I know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. as long as he isn’t talking to an empty chair, i’m all for him speaking. he’s an effective and informed spokesperson. face it, the regular stable of republican convention speakers haven’t been getting it done. the party needs the kind of electricity that democrat zell miller brought in 2004 speaking for george w. bush and you have to go outside of the usual gop elite pep rally for that excitement.

  3. Please, Scott Baio say “I want TRUMP in charge of my days and my nights!”

  4. In 30 years I will have to explain to my grandchildren why precisely the Grand Old Party put on such a farce. Chachi, some wrestlers, a football quarterback, what the heck? Maybe an appearance from Ron Jeremy and that blonde from Rocky IV? I remember better days.

  5. Hopefully he won’t plagiarize a speech from the 2008 Democratic National Convention! Oops Melania — felt bad the Donald’s staff let down his wife.

    1. I see that Michelle Obama and DOCTOR Jill Biden don’t do much for our vets–since they won in 2012 anyway.

      Mere words from them. Always.

I also see that Michelle Obama has repeatedly plagiarized others in her endless speeches given with her typical speech impediment.

      They don’t care.
