In case some members of the legislature might be looking for some people to honor with a resolution (other than themselves) here’s our federal delegation in Washington DC meeting with even more awesome members of the South Dakota National Guard:

  1. There was no need for such a “robust” security, Senator. Never miss an opportunity to insinuate differently. It was all for show and then banish them to the basement garage. Shameful.

    1. Springer it sure as Hell wasn’t a CongressMan from South Dakota who ordered them into the garage or ordered extra security.

Remember when ….. the DC Mayor ordered all National Guard Out of DC when Trump brought them in to Protect our Nations Capital?

      1. My point is the words Thune used….”I wish it hadn’t required such robust security.” This inauguration did not require it. It was for show and intimidation. And Thune could have stated that instead.

I think the SD guard should be called back home now.

        1. We are lucky to have your keen tactical assessment of what security was necessary at a national inauguration event following a riot, very insightful and well reasoned. Shame they are letting you waste your precious mind here.

  2. I believe someone in the US Capitol ordered all National Guard Security teams from all US States into the parking garages on concrete being treated like homeless bums.

That person, whomever he or she or it or them or they should be exposed. . . . . . . . .

    1. Hope you’re waiting in a comfy chair near a well stocked fridge. Expect a longgggg wait.
