Krebs fundraiser coming up with Eldon Nygaard in Vermillion, spent yesterday in Ft. Pierre.

Word out on the street is that Secretary of State/Congressional hopeful Shantel Krebs is being hosted about a month from now for a mid-week fundraiser on October 18th in Vermillion by former State Senator Eldon Nygaard. (How do I know? I heard it through the grapevine – winery joke PP)

I note that I’m still blocked on the Krebs for Congress Facebook page, but looking with an account I use to bypass Shantel Krebs and Lora Hubbel who try to hide what they’re posting, while the other Republicans for Governor or Congress were at yesterday’s beef bowl at SDSU, Krebs was greeting people at the Ft. Pierre Wagon Train:

Yikes. I would think that would raise the eye brows of conservatives supporting Shantel. Kinda like Stan Adelstine hosting a fund raiser for you.

It is insaner than most that Ms. Krebs blocks people from her facebooking when she is trying to run for Congress. It makes me wonder what lies she is hiding.

Nygaard was elected to the South Dakota State Senate in 2010 as a Democrat. Following the election Nygaard joined the Republican Party after losing a leadership position.

The numbers show every month and have for years. More and more South Dakota Democrats are leaving the party.

I was just grouped in as an “Ultra Conservative” by one of the nutty regular commenters over at Dakota Free Press this morning and by theirs and Living Blue “Portland Style” in South Dakota standards being very hard left and just killing a state opposition party here in America’s heartland I’ll take that as a compliment!

Most South Dakotans are Ultra-Conservative compared to them.

She continues to make decisions that make me question her judgment, have a good Republican like Jared Highman throw you a fundraiser in Vermilion not a Dem like Nygaard.

Nygaard became a Republican because the Democrats would not elect him to leadership, this is an example of his character. Not wise to affiliate with this kind of company, poor choice for Krebs.

Krebs is a rock solid conservative. But i think her willingness to speak out and also be independent minded will make her unbeatable in a general. Take her role in fixing her current office that was run by a Republican before her. My family in general likes those who are focused on what is right rather than party line.
