  1. Superb to hear Congresswoman Noem speak in Sioux Falls this weekend, where it was my honor to meet her husband & shake his hand. Such a great South Dakota family: caring, personable, down-to-earth, and pragmatic. Yes, we know the extreme left hates Kristi. Yes, we know it will be a tough election. But hard-working South Dakotans — patriotic citizens who own shotguns, support agriculture, drive trucks, run small businesses, & prefer limited government — will be proud to elect Kristi Noem our state’s first female governor.

    1. Why does it matter that she’s female? I thought the Democrats were the ones into identity politics.

  2. I think it’s FANTASTIC that she’s a woman, because I like women. Smart, capable females make superb doctors, lawyers, and executives. It was a great & historic day when Margaret Thatcher became the United Kingdom’s first female PM. I’m not one of the social justice idiots who rejects science, claiming there’s no difference between ladies and men. Sex is an anatomical, biological fact, not a label that hospitals assign. I agreed with Kristi Noem when she said, about Rodeo, that: “the inherent differences between sexes would impact the winner in many cases. Nonetheless, the federal government foolishly sought to force ‘gender neutral’ competition, putting political correctness above the rodeo experience for the kids involved.” I’m proud Kristi fought to defend rodeo. I’ve been impressed with her leadership in congress. And I was impressed with her marksmanship at South Dakota Salutes, where she drilled a target at 600 yards!

    1. I still don’t understand. If we’re looking for the most qualified candidate, why does that individual’s gender matter? What’s sigificant about the fact that Kristi will be a female governor? Will it make her better at the job than if she had all the same skills and capabilities but was instead a man?

  3. I agree. Noem’s gender is irrelevant. There is nothing about being a female (or male) which makes her better or worse as Governor. I think any weight on symbolism has the long-term impact of denigrating all accomplishments and covering up all mistakes she will do as Governor. She deserves better.

  4. Here’s the difference–

Democrats say: “Vote for me BECAUSE I’m a woman.”

Friend of Education is saying: “I’m voting for Noem because she’s an incredibly impressive candidate who’s going to do great things for South Dakota. Oh — and by the way — it’s cool to watch history being made.”

    1. If the best candidate were male, I’d vote for him. I didn’t vote for HRC. It’s a shame that — for too many years — unjust laws forbid anyone but white males from holding high office. Dixiecrats and New York Dems (e.g. Boss Tweed) fought to keep those laws in place. Republicans, like the Emancipator Abe Lincoln and Ambassador Frederick Douglass, expanded freedom & opportunity. When voting, I try to elect the best candidate, always. If electing the best individual reveals the progress we’ve made together, it’s wonderful. So-called progressives demand we always back women… unless it’s a strong conservative, such as Kirstjen Nielsen, Governor Palin, Candace Owens, or Kristi Noem, in which case we’re obligated to call her rude names, mock her, & disrespect her 24-7.

  5. Why is it the only time we can visit with Kristi being our Congresswoman or if she gets elected Governor we have to pay her money?

    1. Why is it that you lie? Taking tips from Christine Ford and the Democrats?

      Well, unless you’re a woman, then – #believeallwomen.

Are you saying Kristi never appears at events where any South Dakotan (without donating money) can come see her/ speak to her?
