Mike Rowe suing Mike Rowe

Mike Rowe

TMZ is reporting that Dirty Jobs star Mike Rowe is being sued by an inmate of the same name in a South Dakota prison.

TMZ has learned … Mike Rowe (the prisoner) is SUING Mike Rowe (the celebrity) — claiming he copyrighted the name earlier this year and celebrity Rowe has no right to use it … but that’s just the beginning.

In the docs, Rowe (prisoner) gripes that his life behind bars is a living hell because of his name — insisting, “I can’t live here in prison without being called Dirty Jobs or … Dirtiest Man.”

He adds, “I am subject to this ridicule every day that I live.”

Mike Rowe, the prisoner, must have hired Ted Klaudt to be his lawyer. Didn’t he try to trademark his name too?

Maybe Ted added a law degree to his medical degree.

Yep, sounds like he got his legal advice from Ted “the doctor of love” Klaudt. This inmate has too much time, and not enough dirt, on his hands. The prison ought to give Mike Rowe some dirty jobs so he can emulate the non-criminal Mike Rowe. There must be some dishes to wash and toilets to clean at the prison.

Please stop, you will start another debate on how it is is un-American to punish these criminals for the crimes they commit.

The Real Mike Rowe could do a dirty jobs involving soap on a rope… What a moron (the OTHER Mike Row). From my understanding the Federal PTO will not trademark a proper name without distinguishing characteristics, i.e. Mike Rowe Cellmate, Mike Rowe Jail Bait… etc.

Losing your rights should also include prohibitions on the abuse of the legal system whether civil or otherwise.
