On Being Civil

Shortly after Representative Gabrielle Giffords D-Ariz was gunned down in a Safeway parking lot, There was a lot of people calling for civility, including our President. Eight months later we get this:

Finally! Some one who will stand up and speak what is on their mind.

I have said some things in the heat of the moment, that I wish I could take back later. I thought that could be the case here.

Rep. Andre Carson?s (D-Ind.) office confirmed that the lawmaker made the remarks at an Aug. 22 CBC Job Tour event in Miami and said that the comments were ?prompted in response to frustration voiced by many in Miami and in his home district in Indianapolis regarding Congress? inability to bolster the economy.

Guess I was wrong about that one too.

We can leave out the unions.

The White House came with with a statement saying Obama will not police democrat speech.

So much for civility.
