New Ad Campaign Shows Noem Delivers Results for South Dakota

WATERTOWN, S.D. – Kristi Noem today released a new ad campaign, featuring two ads that showcase the results she’s delivered for South Dakota. Most notably, as a member of the House Agriculture Committee, Noem led Congress in passing the last Farm Bill, which included strong crop insurance and livestock disaster programs. While working with President Trump, Noem was also a champion for pro-growth tax reform, delivering historic tax cuts that save the average South Dakota family of four more than $2,400.

“As South Dakota’s lone representative in the 435-member U.S. House, you have to fight harder than most to deliver results for the state,” said Noem. “But that never deterred me. If I had to take on my own party’s leadership to get the Farm Bill done, I didn’t hesitate. If I had to fight liberals from New York and California to deliver historic tax cuts, I wasn’t going to back down. I’m proud of what that must-do attitude has accomplished in the U.S. House. It’s the same approach I’ll take as governor to again yield big results for our state.”

When she first ran for Congress in 2010, Noem pledged to go to work and come home before the decade’s end. She’s kept her promise. Along with historic tax cuts and a five-year Farm Bill, Noem has played a role in repealing Obamacare’s individual mandate; passing the first fully-funded, long-term highway bill in a decade; reversing the Democrats’ big-government spending trend; enacting the most significant human trafficking reforms since the early-2000’s; approving meaningful education reforms that returned control to states and local school districts; repealing or pressuring the federal government to rescind dozens of job-killing regulations; protecting the D.C. Booth Fish Hatchery and Hot Springs VA Hospital from closure; giving Black Hills foresters more tools to combat the pine beetle epidemic; and winning additional support for the Lewis & Clark Rural Water Project, among other things.

  1. ONE bill passed in 8 years in congress, the national debt almost doubling during her time in Washington, numerous debt ceiling raises that she voted for and a boat load of new spending. Not exactly the kind of “results” I’m guessing even she was hoping for but I suppose you say something in an ad and people will buy it.

    1. Bookers debt has grown substantially. Even under trump. Noem hasn’t done anything.

She has literally done nothing about Obamacare, the debt or any of the key issues she ran on against Herseth.

She’s a decent representative but let’s not act like she’s done much.

    2. One bill? Ok this is just straight-up disingenuous.

Marty, if you want to be governor, you need to have staffers who understand the legislative process better than the “I’m Just a Bill” song from School House Rock.

In reality, Noem has had multiple bills become law just this year. They were incorporated into other legislation. She got needed and money-saving Medicare reforms (HR 3992), she got an Obamacare tax delayed for a year (HR 4620), she got the AMBER alert system extended to Indian tribes (HR 3147). That’s not to mention the initiatives she has that have been incorporated into the Farm Bill.

  2. Ironically, a new farm bill won’t happen. Too bad she bagged the ag committee in a time when we really need the “results”.

Great ads can make mediocre performance glossy.

  3. very good ads. DC is broken and the same thing could be said for arguments could be made against anyone who serves out there right now. But to pin that on Noem is posturing and politicking.

Same goes for pinning the crime/meth rate on Jackley.

  4. I really like the ag commercial. Talking about real experiences that can help the ag community instead of a phony clip “working” on a tractor or “fixing” fence.

She is definitely the authentic candidate.

  5. If she was authentic, she’d say that ‘I am really busy” and skip the BS about delivering results.

All hat & buckles. No cattle.

    1. She’s the only farmer I know who has time to take spring planting and fall harvest off to campaign for political office 10 years in a row.

      1. Haha…anonymous trolls reaching for some sort of negative spin. You can’t defend your candidates poser farmer footage, can you?

  6. Her ads are the premiere ads this cycle.

I’m voting jackley but her video team is so much better.

    1. I agree her ads are original each time not re-using the same B roll footage each time

      1. Except for every one of her ads has featured the exact same B roll footage from the announcement video. Jackley just has vastly more ads.
