Those of us who know Senator Lederman are not surprised to see him working hard to promote conservative values. This is precicely why Lederman is a rising star in the ranks of the SD GOP.

Dakota Dunes, SD ? ?Today, I?m announcing the formation of the Rushmore PAC, an organization devoted to supporting candidates who adhere to the conservative ideals of: Peace Through Strength, a Balanced Budget Amendment and Energy Independence,? said State Senator and small businessman Dan Lederman (R ? Dakota Dunes).
Lederman will serve as the organization?s chairman and has been actively working to support leaders and candidates from around the country who embrace South Dakota values. ?We need more candidates elected to office who want to reduce America?s reliance on the federal government, keep our nation safe and balance the books. Every family has to balance their check book, put gas in their car and live in prosperous and safe communities. They want to know that they have leaders elected to office looking out for them.?
Doug Gold, the Rushmore PAC Executive Director has found an outpouring of support around the country for an organization with South Dakota values. ?When I introduce our mission statement and explain our grounding in South Dakota values, people from around the country are intrigued. Our supporters from around the country seem to naturally gravitate towards those values that we find common place in South Dakota.?
In its first three months, the organization has raised $20,250.00 and lent its support to eight candidates for office including, Florida U.S. Senate candidate Adam Hasner, Florida U.S. Rep. Allen West, Ohio state treasurer Josh Mandel, Minnesota U.S. Rep. Chip Cravaack, Minnesota U.S. Rep. Erik Paulsen, Colorado U.S. Rep. Cory Gardner, South Dakota U.S. Rep. Kristi Noem and Arizona U.S. Rep. David Schweikert.
