  1. Curious as to what he will do when either his petitions fail to be certified or barely gets any votes in the race to be nominated?

    1. every one of these arch conservative types is currently betting the whole farm on the assumption that millions of silent americans are just waiting for a person to come and loosen their bonds and free them to stand for freedom. that’s not the america anywhere i’ve seen. people want those who are sincerely talented enough to grasp the reins of power to not lie, to rise above the corrupt ennui of the beltway, to simply do what they promise and govern the whole people with good will and a contrite heart.

      1. I’m sure that in all the vast mockery of American decline, it is you, Enquirer, you alone who has been chosen to travel hither, thither and yon and divine for us what America truly is and stands for and who is truly talented and sincere enough to rise above the commonality of contemptible evil and avarice. Tell us oh, oracle Enquirer of your vast travels and your untold observations of the voting electorate.

Or maybe, since you’re undoubtedly among the vast majority of idiots here on this board and everywhere else who couldn’t see Trump winning an election to save your own soul, shut up. That’s as much conviviality as I can muster for today. Quisling.

        1. you can’t know but many here do that i argued earlier and more loudly FOR trump than anyone else here did in that primary season, when people were hoping rubio or cruz would stop him, i pointed out loudly how outclassed the entire republican establishment was in the face of his decisive and intelligent strategies for winning. stuff it baby.

          1. you all want to appropriate trump’s actual successes as your success by proxy. almost to a person, you are all the same people who leapt up to drink all the energy of the first true large-scale tea party surge of 2009, and suck it down to the pitiful state it languishes in today. delusional.

          2. none of you wanted trump until he forced cruz to suck up to lindsay graham and debase himself. theeeeeennnnnn trump was ok, when he was the only one left.

              1. You’ve yet to speak a word for me. I predicted Trump’s victory in 2011 when it looked like he might enter the race and supplant Mitt. And again in 2015 when it was obvious that he was the only Republican in a field of 17 suitors capable of beating a known felon and traitor to her nation. My words are on record. Preach contrition less and live it more.

            1. You have been schooled, enquirer, and your need for a safe space is showing;)

I don’t recall you arguing loudly FOR Trump as you so desperately claim to be true. What I do recall is you consistently expressing disgust for Tapio.

Please, would you take time to, “Tell us oh, oracle Enquirer of your vast travels and your untold observations of the voting electorate.”

              1. tapio’s tedious self promotion during this legislative session is a matter of record. his major accomplishment was driving up the year to year average number of unpassable bills submitted. school yourself.

              2. i had long arguments in the 2015/2016 primary run-up with troy jones about the role trump would play in exposing a corrupt gop establishment. here. in print. truth. whatever. at least you’ve all figured out that you can’t keep running gordon howie over and over.

                1. enquirer, some people just thrive on conspiracies. It’s always something.

btw! Like the HAL 9000 photo by your name.

    1. I hear she shreds every other sheet of petitions she personally doesn’t like, and mixes them with a secret recipe containing ground carp, sunflower oil, and the tears of your children to make a paste that she applies to Mitch’s head to keep his hair fertilized.

  2. While Shantel is not my first choice in the primary, I don’t she needed to put up the chinese wall in her office regarding this Congressional race. Without reservation, I trust her to honestly perform her duties as Secretary of State in all matters.

    1. Fanatically fabricating flimsy falsehoods for feckless feebleminded fools!

      Gesundheit, Tapio.

      1. Careful now! One Tapio supporter who now believes that person’s life was threatened by another commenter wishing that the threatened one would keep holding their breath waiting for a response is now attempting to get all IP addresses. The flu virus has been mutating into a fear virus on some eliminating the ability to reason.

        1. Over 2500 supporters, what are these people thinking? A virus for sure is spreading.

          1. Easily 50 of those came from Pringle where the ‘No-Go-Zone’ has them scared to leave their bunkers.

            1. Aberdeen is supposedly in smoldering ruins, under Sharia Law and one big No Go Zone too but I’ll be watching the NSU Wolves play tonight! Go Wolves! 🙂

  3. All those naysayers out there, didn’t think Tapio would get the signatures that he needed, but he did . . . . and in the short time he had to do it. Now they say he can’t win. The saga continues . . . .

    1. He can win. Was a record set for time available and amount of signatures collected?

    2. i don’t think anyone doubted he would get the signatures. don’t get your hopes up.

  4. 2521 is no guarantee to make the ballot. He’s got a 566 signature cushion, which is only about 22%. It really depends on who did his circulating. We’ve seen from the ballot measures that there can be a lot of errors.

  5. People who ridicule the concerns which many of their fellow citizens have about refugee resettlement need to get out more. Maybe the concerns are exaggerated but that doesn’t make them less real.
Talk to folks and you will hear about it.
Lora Hubbel is right about the Wilson-Fish deal with LSS. States which signed on to Wilson-Fish have turned into dumping grounds for these human trafficking operations.
Delusional ideas about how “other agencies are suppposed to assist when LSS is done”
Are not helpful. There are no other agencies and there’s nobody who is supposed to be doing anything. My best friend in Massachusetts has had to take some of these people into her own home. She is not “supposed to” do that, and when she tried to line them up with public services she hit dead ends.
The failure of these immigrants to assimilate is causing everything from traffic accidents
to unpaid bills. Then the second generation young men who grow up here, they grow up disaffected and angry
. And guess who is getting tired of this? Tapio supporters. By June we will know how many people have had enough.

    1. The concerns are exaggerated by the people ridiculing Tapio and his supporters. The only comments about NGZ’s in SD and people living in their bunkers are generating from them.

  6. You have to give him credit…many on here were saying he could not do it, but it looks like he will make the ballot.

Good job Sen. Tapio, not an easy task, n matter if people agree or not, I still commend anyone who is able to make the ballot.

  7. Sadly, this means we have to listen to his senseless babble for another 10 weeks, until he gets crushed in the June Primary. What a waste of time.
