The Jeff Beck absence from the #BozTrial is getting interesting.

Update – Beck took stand at about 3:15. Offering a vastly different point of view on testimony.

    1. Doubtful. beck was a terrible witness. He squirmed, and his “moral turpitude” didn’t win anybody over.

      1. Beck was a terrible witness . I have interviewed many people who have stolen either from me or my employer and if it was me deciding how credible he was I would score him 0 .

        1. Impressive! I thought the Hill City Rattler would be too busy drafting up more tax increases and creating more government to post on here?

          Speaking of lack of credibility..

Dr. Annette Bosworth took the stand in her own defense at 11 a.m. Friday in her trial in Pierre on charges that she violated state election laws in her 2014 run for the U.S. Senate.
She testified about 2.5 hours, saying she tried to do things right in her campaign but made mistakes as a rookie candidate relying on advisers. Bosworth said she wasn’t trying to mislead anyone by what she now realizes were wrong actions in vouching for petition signatures she hadn’t witnessed.

Tim, not trying to be a jerk, but I’d ask that if you want to draw our attention to an article, please post an excerpt and a link ONLY, not the entire thing.

The reason for this is directly related to copyright, and fair use principles. Posting the whole thing without express permission is a violation of the publisher’s copyright. Fair use principles allow portions to be used for editorializing.

It’s also about courtesy. If it’s worth adding to the conversation, give a preview, and send them back to the source material. They deserve the patronage & the credit.

If someone gets crabby about it, I’m the one who gets the unhappy e-mail. I have to fight the battle myself when certain rivals lift material from my website without credit, so I try to be better than that.

Thanks for your courtesy and your readership. It is appreciated.

      Regards,

  1. How many public examples of unethical dealings does the state BAR need before they take action against Arends? Or is he getting a free pass for being a Jackley & Rounds’ crony?
