Thune, Rounds & Daugaard pledge their support for Kristi Noem

From my mailbox comes a pledge of support for Kristi Noem in the form of three of the top elected officials in the state encouraging people to vote for (and to support the campaign of) the 4th:

  1. Having endorsements from Governors that under their watch had EB-5, Gear Up, Anderson Seed and other scandals just makes sense for Kristi. She will continue the legacy.

    1. Did Seiler have the authority to bring federal charges during any of the scandals you mention?

  2. So Kristi is going to Pierre to drain the swamp and clean up the corruption but she chooses an establishment running mate and embraces the endorsements of Pierre’s biggest swamp creatures!?

The ad in which she claims Sutton was advocating for a personal income tax, when he was joking, is really turning people off. Is this what our party has become? An ugly caricature of the party that lied about Kavanaugh? Is she intentionally trying to alienate the Christian conservative base?

    1. That’s what leftists see. You say establishment. A reasonable, educated person says experience. Noem and Rhoden bring knowledge, leadership and commitment to the table. Sutton is all over the place, his party is lost and crumbling within, he will only bring chaos.

She’s not turning people off, she’s turning you off. What’s it matter to you anyway, you never supported her to begin with. You’re anger at your party and taking it out on her; finding any reason possible to express and spread your hate.

        1. I do not often turn to Stace Nelson for political insight or direction.
          Good luck with that.

          1. Check out Stacey Nelsons voting record. He voted 80% of the time with the Democrats while the “Rhinos” he bellyaches about voted conservative values. He is a joke!

        2. Then you don’t see very well cuz that’s what he really is he’s a fake conservative I ever seen one standing with Rick Weiand– hiding in the bathroom— only attacking Republicans

        3. Um, I don’t think so. As much of a RINO as Stace is, he knows there are two Supreme Court Justice’s at stake and IF he’s as pro-life as he says he is (and I tread lightly and choose to believe that), he should be all in for Kristi, regardless of his past grievances with either but we’ll never know. In his little commentary to sound like a good and honest man, he again twisted the facts. He inferred that Kristi said (not implied) that Sutton was “obstructing” the GOAD research. Go back and look at what Noem’s campaign manager (boldly) said and you will not find the word ‘obstruct’. Not that it really matters but to his own very conservative constituents, how would it look in the end if he endorsed a Democrat over a Republican after they find out two SJCs are about to age out?? Not so well for anyone who’s paying attention.

    2. Swamp or conservative or christian. What’s your question? The Christian, conservative base is strong. If you don’t know that and question it, tells me you’re not a paart of it…

  3. If Stace is supporting Sutton (and/or Bjorkman and Seiler) after voting more with Democrats in the Legislature and badmouthing most everyone in the party, does there become a day we all just admit he is pro-liberal Democrat?
