Top Priorities for Next Congress: Repealing Obamacare and Confirming a Supreme Court Nominee

“Repealing Obamacare and confirming a Supreme Court nominee are two important things we’re going to do next year, but they’re just the beginning.

WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.) today discussed the remaining items the 114th Congress will tackle this year, including the National Defense Authorization Act, which is important legislation that would provide our troops with the resources they need to keep Americans safe. Thune also discussed two important issues that Republicans plan to take on at the beginning of the 115th Congress: repealing Obamacare and confirming a Supreme Court nominee.

  1. Both very good things. Had Hillary won the top two priorities would have been increasing the number of pages of the terrible law that is ObummerCare and appointing a leftwing, Constitution-hating Supreme Court judge.

It’s good to be on the winning side!!! (Democrats, unbeknownst to you, with Hillary’s loss, you will also win, unless, of course, you support total control of a centralized, immoral government).

  2. All I can say is repeal better start day 1 and progress rapidly from there foreward.

    1. Sounds like y’all are not even aware that there is already a riff between repugs on Obamacare…. The Ryan side is planning 3 years for repeal……………………Trump said HE would repeal it on his first day——He can NOT do that—-did y’all not even know he was lying? He has backtracked this, and I think all but one of his top 5-6 top promises….. I thought you people hated liars..
