“It’s an incredible privilege to continue serving the people of South Dakota, and I’m humbled by the trust you’ve placed in me to represent you in the United States Senate. 1. Pomp and Circumstance? I suspect Edward Elgar would strongly disagree. I read in the Argus Leader that a large contingent of Rounds’ family made the trip to DC. Did the taxpayers foot the bill for that?

  2. Taxpayers don’t even pay for the Senator or his wife to travel there for the ceremony.

      1. I asked one of the brothers that didn’t go. he said he just couldn’t afford the trip. Their was NO taxpayer money for the family.. I get it that you don’t like Mike but at least get your facts right.

        1. I get that you like Marion but I didn’t state any facts. I asked a question. You need to get your facts right. And use the correct ‘there’ when appropriate. ‘Their’ is a possesive case of ‘they’ and is typically used in a sentence in front of a noun.

  3. If Dr. Bos was there instead can you imagine the media frenzy? People would even be blogging more about it. And her fellow, Mr. Haber, he would be just a giggling insaner than most and drinking those DC fancy drinks.
