Who wants to pay more taxes?

John Thune introduced the “The Buffett Rule ACT of 2011”, a tax plan with no down side in the 2012 GOP presidential primary. Thune stated:

?If individuals like Warren Buffett or President Obama are inclined to donate their own personal money toward paying down the federal government?s debt, they ought to have that right to do so voluntarily,? said Thune in a statement. ?This bill would make it easier for those wealthy individuals who feel they are currently under-taxed to pay more to the U.S. Treasury above and beyond their current obligations, without raising taxes on America?s job creators.?

Stan isn’t that option in the tax return a question of giving a dollar towards the presidential campaign?

I have always wondered why liberals who want to tax and regulate everyone out of their house and home end up with fifty thousand square foot homes on a lake or the ocean while we end up struggling with their idiotic regulations.

John Thune finally pulled the ultimate coup in a very gutsy and smart move. Now watch how many of the Obama facists voluntarily send in another cent.

Some good points, CaveMan. Could you give us a few examples of the idiotic regulations you would like to see repealed? I don’t know if you have ever been on an airplane, but as a person who has to fly all the time, I am glad that there is someone from the government who has tried to make sure the industry is regulating itself. I am glad that the mines in Black Hills are no longer to spew chemicals into the streams. I’m glad the air standards reduce and eliminate acid rain. Sorry, I can’t agree that Thune’s move was gutsy or even smart. It’s something we can all do today. I think it’s a major time-waster. Why isn’t Thune trying to figure out a way to get us out of the wars we’re in, spending $2 billion a week?

Great work, John. This new bill is right up there with your landmark work on cow farts. I am willing to have my rate increased to 39%. I am willing to see stock speculators/manipulators have their capital gains rates raised. I’m tired of seeing McConnell’s one-term goal continued by you day after day at the expense of our country. You are part of the problem, not part of the solution. I pray every day that you become vice president…

    Dear Sen. Thune:

Could you draw this one up as well as offered by your friend Warren Buffett

“I could end the deficit in 5 minutes,” he told CNBC. “You just pass a law

that says that anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all

sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election.

The only thing that people want is a tax rate that treats all as equals. Voluntary donations show that those that do not want to pay taxes are getting a better American and doing nothing. I guess we could say GREED is everything in the eyes of some. It should be a thinking that equal payed taxes are a honor to pay not of how to avoid taxes. Dictators have a structure of I give nothing and you give all. Where are we going????????????????
