Word is that Dave Kranz passed away Saturday. Which is appropriate, since it was the GOP Convention, and he was a consummate political junkie. RIP

Dave was always tough but fair. He always treated me right. God be with you Dave.
Sad news.
I always looked forward to having a conversation with Dave… Too bad we can’t say that about the people who do his job now.
I knew Mr. Kranz only through his writing. A craftsman, fair, always interesting. RIP.
