. The defense is based on: it’s all Joel Arends’ fault, and she made an honest mistake. Ignorance of the law is her excuse, and it’s not perjury because because her lawyer suborned it.
In some other jurisdiction this might work.
I had not heard the Belfrage interview before, so I was truly in awe of the way she kept changing the subject, talking about leadership, religion, teamwork, family, peserverance, and how CAH is an out-of-state communist atheist agent of an unnamed operation. She’s a natural born manure spreader. I have never heard anything like it.
I thought Mr. Hanna laid out the case very well. Rookie mistake who has learned a lot. This could have been settled months ago with a misdemeanor. But it is quite apparent it goes deeper than signing a petition without witnessing the signatures.
