Sioux Falls School Board Election on Tuesday. Remember – Just say NO to Lora Hubbel.

The Sioux Falls School Board election is coming to a close with the election next week, and candidates are making final appearances, including one today at the noon forum being held by the local Democrat lunch group.  It’s probably a good time to remind voters, why Lora Hubbel should not be elected. Ever. TO ANYTHING.

While I know Lora has and will continue to blame me for her electoral losses, I can’t help but point out that her anger seems a bit misplaced, because what’s she’s expressing displeasure about are her own words which no one forces to come out of her mouth and from her keyboard.

I’m not sure which of Lora’s words she’s upset about people noticing, so maybe we need to review things she’s said in the recent past. Such as:

Lora believes “All the murders in SD lead back to the GOED” as in she actually believes state government is murdering people:

Or Lora’s views on race which tends towards the 50’s. The 1850’s:

Read that here. And that’s aside from the times when she’s just nakedly racist:

Read that here… And don’t forget her attempt at Lora-splaining, when she clarified..

I tried to reduce Troy Heinert a bit by calling him a famous Indian. Others have said similar when we hear the now infamous quote, “and you, sir, are no Ronald Reagan!” I have been told I erred and should have called him, Faux-cahontas because he pretending to be a caliber of a person that he is not. Troy is nothing like the heroine Pocahontas,” said Hubbel.

First, he has a much diluted blood line to the American Indians. Second of all he threw the Indian kids under the bus by refusing to call the perpetrators of the Gear Up Scandal in for questioning.

Read that here

And related to her views on other cultures, don’t forget how she fought the great Sioux Falls Airport pre-jihad of 2015:

jihad_siouxFallsStyle

In terms of whether her temperament is appropriate for the School Board, Lora seems to have a tendency to lash out in ways that don’t really seem appropriate. Or honest:

And don’t even get me started on Lora’s views on vaccinations, such as when she questioned if “Brain Eating Nanobots Being Put in Vaccines”:

Or that hand washing cured smallpox, not vaccines…

or this one…

And you might notice a general paranoia, such as when Lora’s was concerned over a piece of legislation may demand that if you have a head cold, South Dakota could seize your luggage:

What could happen if you have a contagious/communicable head cold? South Dakota wants to be able to:

1) Seize your vehicle and luggage, etc. They use the word “conveyance” which means “vehicle” when used as a noun, or “to transport” when used as a verb (Section 2).

I won’t get into her paranoia about driver’s license photographs, chemtrails, etc.

And so much for the #metoo movement as far as Lora is concerned, with some choice thoughts about “women who just can’t say no”:

As a nurse for a major SD University, I saw all kinds of “rape” cases…some were sorely wrong…but others were an afterthought of the woman who could not force herself to say “STOP” and just went along with accelerating sexual activity. Only afterwards did she cry “rape”.

The problem with a post like this is that when it comes to pointing out the bizarre statements of Lora Hubbel, there are so many that I literally could write an entirely new blog on the strange things Lora says, such as America being punished in Vietnam for not helping Israel bomb Auschwitz..

Ron Paul & Bombing Auschwitz: “Being that America did NOT support Israel when they asked for bombers to help them destroy Auschwitz and hence we suffered for ignoring them (the Bible says that as a nation does to Israel, so God will do to them, and we suffered in Vietnam that same amount of years as months that we ignored Israel – maybe a coinsidence but may be not)… and similarly Ron Paul would not actively support Israel, I can’t support him. And Ron Paul does not acknowledge that Pharmachia and sorcery are the same in the biblical languages of Hebrew and Greek and are WRONG (and i believe are a gateway to hell) I cannot support him… though he would be good as the Sec of Treasury!” (Lora Hubbel Facebook 3/3/2012)

Read that here.

And before this post gets too long, I have to include what might be my all-time favorite Lora Hubbel post:

Sioux Falls residents, when you vote in the School Board election on Tuesday, remember Israel’s bombing of Auschwitz and to “Just Say No” to sorcery.

And, remember to just say No to Lora Hubbel.

  1. Who are the true conservatives running so I have an idea of who should get my vote?

James Bialota, Secretary of the CPSD

Signed this 23rd. day of March 2019.

      2.

  2. Hubbel is the only conservative running for school board. If you want a rubber stamp, liberal school board member, don’t vote Hubbel.

    1. Maybe as a school board member on her own planet in a galaxy far far away but here on Earth? In Sioux Falls? No! Not a chance.

      1. Pat, you need to come up with something better than that. Sounds like you are supporting the Liberal candidates. Have you gone RINO? lol

    2. You are not a Conservative, either, Tara. So why do you keep concern trolling?

      1. Trolls are people that are to cowardly to use their own name……Ponder that one.

    3. Lora Hubbel has been officially sanctioned and is prohibited from running for any office on the state or local levels as a candidate for the Constitution Party of South Dakota.

Hubbel is in violation of the By-Laws of the CPSD in doing so.

  3. Tara, I get that she’s your friend and all, but how can you read even one of the things above and still believe she’s fit to make decisions about education? There isn’t a single one of these “ideas” that make any sense, at all. She’s clearly struggling with reality. I can’t believe anyone takes her seriously. It’s not like Pat is making things up here to see what sticks, these are her words. Yikes.

    1. What is wrong with debating ideas? I don’t agree with everything Lora believes but she doesn’t agree with everything that I stand for. I read all of her postings. They make you think and motivate you to do your own research. It’s good to think for yourself. Lora must be doing something right or Pat wouldn’t be taking after her like he has over the years. He also has a real problem with Theresa Stehly along with Sara Caron, Mayor of Watertown. Scyller Borglum, Lynn Desanto. Could it be that they are all outspoken women that will not tow the party line or bow to the special interests. I don’t think these women have the problem. By the way Lora along with her liberal opponents were invited to speak the the Democrat luncheon today in Sioux Falls.

      1. I too notice issues had with women who do not go blindly into the establishment. One might think it wise to entertain a thought without accepting it.

I wanted to challenge the hand-washing statement and sure enough there’s compelling information that shows a decline in diseases with better hygiene and indoor plumbing.

Wanted to challenge the vaccine claims too. Not much on bots, but good grief the ingredients used to make vaccines are unbelievable. Hubbel was the first place I heard about chemtrails. Went looking into what that’s all about and come to find out there are companies that offer services to do just that.

Didn’t Lora host an event with a Muslim speaker?

        1. No, I did. Her name is Annie Cyrus. Might want to check her out on you tube.

          1. I’m familiar with her, thanks. Did Lora speak and introduce Cyrus at the SF speech?

      2. Pol Pot musta had some good ideas, people are still talking him decades later! Impressively stupid argument.

  4. Here is how you decide who to vote for.

You ask them if a biological male should be able to compete in female sports.

    1. Don’t vote for Hubbel because she will fight against biological males competing in female sports. I guess Pat is ok with that.

      1. grudznick is on record encouraging people to vote for young Ms. Hubbel. The Sioux Falls school district could use a little shaking up, and she’s the gal to do it. It will be the insanest school district in the state, with Lora at the helm, and there will be no shortage of entertainment.

I get excited just thinking about the levity having one of the insanest of them all on the Sioux Falls school board.

        1. I have two kids in the public school system-for now-so I am more concerned with having a school system that gives a good education and doesn’t indoctrinate my kids rather than having it as entertainment.

    1. I do believe Lora will get the Christian Conservative vote. Who else would they vote for? Pat you or Mike Clark should have recruited some conservative candidates.

        1. What exactly is it that Conservatives are trying to preserve?

Free speech? You must be different than FL Conservatives who helped to pass an anti-Semtic law. You’re certainly not like Conservatives who say they’re pro-life, but are A-okay with murder of children conceived from rape or incest. Never would Conservatives, with similar thoughts as yours, support the firing of someone who talks openly about Judeo-Christian values, which many rabbis have openly stated is anti-Semtic speech.

Are you a Christian Conservative who’d support passing anti-Christian laws, because right now you’re letting Christians get stomped on… Bake that cake, Christian.

          1. Religion has nothing to do what you are talking about.

Are you willing to debate every topic you brought up in your post?

I doubt you are, but I am willing to do so.

    1. I, too, think young Ms. Hubbel will wipe up the elections with hefty towels, and take her rightful place in a position of power at the head of the table. I would not be surprised to find she will shake up the districts and bring a new perspective to how the fatcat administrators run the show. And the fatcats need a new perspective. Vote Hubbel. grudznick endorsed.

  5. Grudznik,
While I truly enjoy your posts and sense of humor, and I wouldn’t disagree about the comedic value of a Hubbel on the school board (it would be a belly laugh in every morning’s paper), there are just some sacrifices we have to make – and loosing that potential clown show is one of them.

I think Pat’s post is in the nature of a PSA, about as clear as if it said “don’t let your kids play on the train tracks” or “loaded guns make bad toys at grade school kid’s birthday parties”

  6. A typical politician’s remark. Is this how you conduct business in Pierre Lee. I am sure you have not spent one minute listening to both school board forums. You take your information from some cut and paste fb remarks that Pat posted. Say Lee, what was your vote on the hemp bill? So why don’t you listen to both forums and than give us your opinion. I bet you don’t, because you might just agree with Hubbel.

  7. Odin, I am willing.

You’re saying anti-Semtic laws have nothing to do with religion? Did you read the FL bill? I doubt you did. Christian Conservatives say they support free speech; however, if Christians talk about who runs the majority of Hollywood, the media, the porn industry, or professional sports they are being anti-Semtic.

Jack Phillips, Barronelle Stutzman or Aaron Klein and his wife Melissa: Christians who refused to provide services for an event that goes against their religious beliefs has nothing to do with religion?

6th Commandment, Thou shall not murder… abortion is murder. Please, let’s debate. These “Christian Conservatives” do nothing, say nothing and crumble anytime they’re called a name for sharing the truth.

    1. Capital punishment is not murder.

You shouldn’t have to provide a service to anyone in the US under the Constitution.

      1. Capital punishment of an innocent man is murder.

The Constitution is centered around Christian values.

    1. Where she says nobody in the state legislature has any respect for the state constitution?

    2. I thought the forum was interesting though: Lora wasn’t the nuttiest person in the room! When a candidate (Sarah) is repeatedly saying how unqualified she is, she’s a newcomer, “but that’s a good thing,” and says the reason she’s running for school board is all the bullying that’s going on, but her real passion is health insurance, that’s entertainment!
Then the man whose speech was barely intelligible who was talking about his brother in law losing his health insurance and the affordable care act and the whole forum jumped the tracks and got into a discussion of Healthcare and Sarah declared that Medicare is the best insurance. No mention of how low the reimbursement rates are, it’s wonderful insurance. I had heard that at least one other candidate was “a batshit crazy communist” and now I know what that was about.

I also thought the discussion of how the bond issue was passed with 85% of the vote and not a single polling station north of 6th street. Really? I would like to hear more about that.

      1. Anne you’re right she wasn’t the nuttiest, but she was still pretty nutty. I would be very concerned if Lora was on the school board.

  8. Having been on the local school board for twice as long as I was in the Legislature what comes up quick in what really matters is stopping the bad motions from axe-grinding newbies from ever seeing daylight. Beyond that knowing the difference between certified and non-certified employees and taxes payable and unreceived in the budget. Basically another underrated and underpaid job. Just like the Legislature. LOL
