  1. Not surprising, he’s shown little interest in listening to those living in SD.

It’s sad how embarrassing it is to visit his office after those of either Rep. Johnson and Sen. Thune. His field offices could also stand a couple workshops in professionalism from Thune’s or Johnson’s as well.

    1. Looks like a great opportunity for self reflection. If everyone is mean and unprofessional, maybe you’re the problem.

  2. I LIKE MIKE.
He is a good legislator – fits his skills nicely. One more term for Mike, without a doubt. You may disagree on policy but there is no doubt he puts the work in.

If he goes one more term, all the more reason to get the other races right – whoever we elect to the House or Governor will be well positioned to run for Senate in 2034.

    1. I agree. Rounds is so solid, vigilant, and results oriented, he can be under-appreciated as he is seldom in the limelight. He is just doing his job of serving the people of South Dakota.

  3. He’s the least effective person our state has in DC, and it isn’t even close.

Jackley, Crabtree, or Schoenbeck would be far more effective as they’d at least put in the effort.

    1. Utterly exactly fully incorrect. Thune and Johnson are the mystery men. Rounds is the real deal. In fact, every good solid thing people have depended on and enjoyed in South Dakota the past few decades, all came from the solid effective hard work and expertise of Mike Rounds. What do you even base your comment on?

  4. Do we really need more crypt-keepers in politics? Haven’t we had the baby boomers in politics long enough, when will we have had enough damage done by the Me Generation?
