Don’t forget the Christine Erickson fundraiser on Monday night!

Don’t forget the big Sioux Falls fundraiser tomorrow night for Christine Erickson for Mayor, with Special Guest Adam Vinatieri.  (The campaign released this updated host list today for her first fundraiser for the June 2026 contest.)

  1. It’s a strange world when a dude who can kick a ball is an attraction for a political event!! How about a dynamic individual who has actually made a contribution to society!!

    1. While Adam is certainly most recognized for his athletic achievements, he’s also actively involved in various charitable endeavors, with a particular focus on supporting military veterans, children’s hospitals, and youth with juvenile arthritis. He is a long-time advocate for the Arthritis Foundation, specifically supporting the Adam Vinatieri Juvenile Arthritis Education Day Camp in Indiana, an annual event providing educational and recreational activities for families affected by juvenile arthritis.

Vinatieri also supports the Wounded Warriors Project, a charity that aids military veterans, and Ducks Unlimited, an organization dedicated to wetlands conservation and waterfowl habitat.
He has been involved with the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which supports veterans, first responders, and their families, as the beneficiary of proceeds from his Clays 4 Charity event in 2025.

Additionally, he has supported Wreaths Across America, an organization that honors fallen military heroes through wreath-laying ceremonies, with donations from a 2020 event.

He sure sounds like a dynamic individual who has actually made many contributions to society, to me.

      1. “Actively involved”??? Sending in a check like the majority of Americans makes us all “actively involved”.

        1. You should actually read the comment, he also has his own foundation and does far more than simply write checks.

It’s clear you simply want to denigrate those who achieve far more than you
