  1. From Wikipedia:

“She opposes abortion, divorce, homosexuality, same-sex marriage and birth control.”

That’s a losing viewpoint if I’ve ever seen one.

    1. Except with the Creator, and I guess that matters most. “Whoever is not with me is against me” Matthew 12:30. I know who I side with. Pick a side, and I ain’t talking Twix.

    1. Good point. IMHO, Star Parker seems a very interesting speaker. I’m eager to attend the event & hear her ideas. I support a wide variety of market-based poverty solutions (operating in conjunction with private charity). That I may disagree with Ms Parker on some other philosophical point is scarcely a valid reason to plug my ears and refuse to listen. Unlike young snowflakes, who already know the “correct” answer to every question and who claim to feel unsafe when a speaker strays from establishment orthodoxy, I’m excited to hear unconventional perspectives and (just maybe) learn some new things.

    2. Herseth Sandlin doesn’t need interference from the state or an investigation because she is a true example of the First Amendment. Liberal means open-minded and allowing people to voice their opinion and speak on campus even though you may not agree with them. She is doing a great job for the Auggie Doggies.

Did you post the above with a straight face????

  2. A liberal is someone who is open-minded and progressive in their views. An example of liberal is someone who likes new ideas that will bring progress even if they are not traditional. I don’t use the connotative for of the word…..
