Thank goodness for federal farm programs, huh? You need to remember that one the next time you flippantly vote to cut Medicaid funding, however….
So when the state’s budget revenue drops due to slow ag economy and Medicaid suffers, what will you say then?
I would say it shouldn’t because its a priority. I am not against federal farm aid, but why Rep. Noem against appropriate Medicaid funding?
Appropriate in your mind, not necessarily appropriate.
Because Medicaid is ripe for fraud, waste and abuse. I don’t know what goes on in the farm program but people on Medicaid are almost twice as likely to be hooked on prescription opioids. That includes pregnant women.
When you finally realize that your tax dollars are being spent supplying addicts with drugs, you realize it’s time to cut the spending.
Conjecture anyone?
Good grief! That is so far out there it is not even worth pointing out contrary facts. Lord help our nation in this time of the Trump dumpster fire era.
Perhaps you don’t have contrary “facts”? If you do, wheel them out; I’m willing to hear about facts in support of an argument.
Here is a fact. Those addicted to opioids need health care more than most and definitely do not need their health care cut…….
