From Twitter, one of the hardest left democrat state legislators in South Dakota isn’t leaving anything to the imagination regarding her position on Abortion, as she declares “abortion is healthcare.”
➡️Mifepristone is a safe and effective option for reproductive healthcare, offering women autonomy over their choices.
➡️Abortion is healthcare, and it’s crucial to support access for all who need it.
➡️It’s time to prioritize women’s health and rights. https://t.co/IkWpGwZBpA
— Rep. Kadyn Wittman (@kadyn_wittman) October 24, 2023
Not so sure everyone agrees.
When we have an economy that supports a family, winning the argument will be enough.
How many times do conservatives have to win this argument?
As many times as it takes to restore a free market of core American values (a free market for products and services being one).
I am so glad there will finally be a pro-life democrat candidate in District 15 this next cycle.
Linking to a Catholic webpage doesn’t really prove your point. The majority of South Dakota residents are not Catholic and no one should think that a church should be dictating other’s medical decisions. I appreciate Rep. Wittman standing up for a woman’s right to access healthcare decided by her and her physician, not the government. Mifepristone bans would hurt women experiencing miscarriages. And anyone who believes that banning abortions, stops abortions from occurring is living in a fantasy world. In fact, I just saw a headline that abortion rates increased following Dobbs.
The abortion to save one of my twin’s life was performed in a Children’s Hospital, 5 doctors assisted, that sounds like healthcare to me. An abortion to save a woman’s life is performed in a hospital, that’s healthcare. An abortion for a woman that needs to start cancer treatment is done in a hospital. Again, healthcare. Pat, be happy your wife never needed an abortion to save her.
Tiffany are you managing the facebook page for Dakotans4Life? Working the office there and answering phones and emails?
Dakotans4Health?
Tiffany, enough. The procedure you underwent is designed to save the lives of both twins if possible, and has a success rate now of over 70% for both twins, over 90% success of saving at least one twin.
The procedure did not terminate your pregnancy, which is what an abortion does, it terminates a pregnancy. You were still pregnant post-op. You did not have an abortion.
Saying you had an abortion is like somebody saying a family member underwent physician-assisted suicide because he died during open heart surgery.
You have been telling this bullshit story long enough; the truth is, one of your twins died during a risky procedure in an attempt to save their lives.
Just stop.
I’m curious about the picture of Wittman holding a baby. Isn’t she the one that did a whole facebook video about why she proactively had surgery to make sure she never had kids?
I don’t know about that but she claims to have dedicated both her professional and personal life to advocating for marginalized communities and helping to connect them with life-saving resources.
Life-saving resources? Encouraging women to kill their babies? The cognitive dissonance from these people is astonishing.
“The cognitive dissonance from these people is astonishing.”
Astonishing or disturbing? If you have ever scanned the DFP cult propaganda blog, I would say disturbing.
ok, so it’s disturbing. These people have always been disturbing.
I was disturbed when I first saw the TV ad Tiffany made with her baby on her lap, talking about how she deliberately killed his twin, and I worried about the mental health of a child growing up hearing that narrative.
For her child’s sake, the story is better narrated as “the doctors tried to save both of you, but your twin didn’t make it.”
“Disturbing” doesn’t even begin to cover it.
Do you have a link to Tiffany pushing that narrative? Is Tiffany easily triggered?
the advertisement Tiffany did might be online someplace. It was aired during the run up to the 2006 referendum on measure 6.
She did an ad in which she had her baby in her lap and she claimed that if abortion were illegal in South Dakota she would not have been allowed to leave the state to have surgery in Ohio for twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome. It’s called endoscopic laser ablation or fetoscopic laser coagulation, they use a laser to separate the blood supply between the twins. As I said before, calling the procedure an abortion is like calling any other high risk surgical procedure physician-assisted suicide.
The whole ad was bullshit. She had people convinced that the state was going to have border patrol guards making sure pregnant women didn’t leave the state.
