Did someone violate a rule by sending this? Minnehaha GOP code of conduct proposed.

The Minnehaha GOP met on Jan 30, and among the items discussed such as why did the prior group spend money on PAC’s, and send money outside the county..

..the group also moved forward the Minnehaha County Republican GOP Executive Board’s code of conduct, which talks about treating people with civility and “ to resolve conflicts constructively.”

Obviously, they’re trying to turn a chapter from the prior board.

Although I’m not sure anybody is paying attention to the “do not disclose confidential information” part yet.

Oops. Did someone violate a rule by sending this?

  1. I don’t know what (if any) “Rules” are currently in effect that may be violated by releasing the proposed Code, but clearly it could not apply to current elected officials. “Integrity and Honesty”; “Respect and Professionalism”; “Accountability and Transparency”; “Adherence to the Law”??

    1. Why bring up Mike Z, you guys banned him from the group. So he moved on and started his own following

      1. Correction. There were no “you guys.” I banned him. After warnings about the nonsense and constant manifestos and flat out lies in other forums he wore out his welcome.

        1. But it had made your blog kind boring. Dobyoy wish to give him a 2nd chance, cause he had a pretty strong following from what I can see. You know, there is a first amendment which you support. By reading some of his posts lately, you and him are both getting attacked by the same people.

  2. Maybe they can put out a release on how the working class can pay 25% more for goods. I hope those wealthy tax cuts we are paying for trickle down.

  3. Did the outgoing board “go Yankton” and take the $22K with them?
Now that we all know it’s legal, why wouldn’t they do that?

    1. Unfortunately, as a party entity, they did not have to file a yearend report. What they gave to a PAC has to be reported by the PAC. Siouxland Republican Women show receiving $2500 from them. Have heard they gave a large contribution to the Minnehaha/Lincoln Republican Women. (Korry’s wife is President) But as a official party entity they also are not required to file another report until 2026. Other contributions to PACs will have to be found by checking their yearend reports.

Should make for an interesting county Central Committee meeting next time.

        1. everything, including the checkbook, has been fully transitioned to the new board. If anyone has questions, they’re welcome to call me directly.

Unfortunately, rumors tend to spread more easily than facts, often without accountability. If there are any concerns, I encourage open and direct communication rather than speculation. Anyone can reach out and talk to me, but rather not.

            1. Yes;it’s not like printed bank statements and copy’s of checks would of done the same thing… it’s not like they weren’t there at the meeting available.
