“With most describing him as “tough,” “energetic,” “focused” and “effective” — and as doing what he’d promised during his campaign — President Trump has started his term with net positive marks from Americans overall.
Well, actually 53% approval overall. But that is still majority. My displeasure with Dusty, Thune, and Rounds is they set on their thumbs for 4 to 8 years. That is disappointing.
You are there, we are paying you, do your job. Easy to do your job when you have control of all 4 post in DC. President, senate, house and Supreme Court, I will grade them on the years they did not and didn’t try.
Dusty is well respected in DC from both sides of the aisle for being someone that can bridge the gap and reach across the aisle and work with the other side to get things done. Personally, I see it as a good thing that he is adopting the Trump agenda, as we are more likely to get it implemented with people like Dusty supporting it and having meaningful conversations with the other side.
I wonder if Dusty says anything to the president when Musk eliminates subsidies for crop insurance or says the Air Force does not need a manned bomber fleet base in western SD?
Dusty is not doing anything about Musk who is unelected and has keys to the kingdom and is ransacking government agencies some on the team that have no security clearances. Where is government oversight? Separation of powers Dusty?
