From former State Senator Erin Tobin, a great piece on why we don’t want to rob already underfunded public schools to dump cash into private schools:

Look who voted NOT to send the disasterous 1020 to the 41st day. They want to take funds away from public education.
I hate to promote my book, so I won’t.
If we’re serious about education, it starts with local food and adapting our education to the coming economy.
Who cares about education if our government keeps allowing labor trafficking and outsourcing of our best, future proof jobs.

LOL.
😀
Good times.
I graduated from a private school system. Many parents besides my own paid their own way when they themselves were under severe economic stress. My parents never would have supported have public taxpayer dollars to go to our private education. They supported public education systems also and donated when they could. They stressed that a strong fully funded public school system benefited everyone for the greater good. No way would they do anything to place those kids or families at a disadvantage.
Did you know I wrote several books too?
Does Garcia represent Watertown? The bills I have seen her name on and her votes would suggest she lives their but does not represent.
