Carter served his own interests and play acted at humility and grace. Why do we all have to pretend he was a good man? He wasn’t.

when people die they were all good regardless how bad they were even joe thinks Jimmy was better than himself
Exactly the opposite of Trump. Even though I didn’t agree with his policies, he was a kind and humble man. He kept doing so many selfless things after his loss. I gained a lot of respect for him. Today’s politicians should be more like Carter.
Jimmy Carter’s Presidency made me the man I am today.
A Republican.
Making Reagan necessary was Jimmy Carter’s greatest accomplishment.
Jimmy Carter wasn’t a great president, ranked by historians as 39th best, next to Ronald Reagan, but well above Trump who rated worst.
But he was the president we needed at the time. Watergate made Americans want honesty, and someone they could believe. The peanut farmer from Georgia gave them what they needed.
