How are those principals working in SD with MCEC, Gear-Up, EB-5, Common Core and now Medicaid expansion. Nice memorized speech that means nothing if you don’t show action. Your talking points are getting old…not buying it.
I agree that talk is cheap. Senator Thune should be standing up to Twit McConnell instead of just going along. The leadership needs to be voted out and there needs to be new leadership. I’m not sure what about the National Republican party says to him that they are about limited government. I wouldn’t mind seeing a conservative run against Senator Thune as I believe he has become part of the establishment.
Thune’s speech was terrific! A concise statement of principles for voters. Its easy to be distracted and sometimes Republicans need clarity about our goals.
One of our pressing national issues is stagnant wages and rising cost of living. The middle class is being squeezed. The Republican solution is economic growth and jobs.
Let’s see action as opposed to speeches. New leadership in the party is imperative as Mitch is worthless as teats on a boar.
The “Republican” solution in Pierre is raising taxes, increasing fees, and more government. Because it worked so well when the big RINOs in DC did it.
