Pennington is odd.
Lets hope this speaker doesn’t get indicted and convicted for a federal felony like last years speaker.
Just to be crystal clear about this, Dinesh D’Souza was under supervised confinement in a halfway house for reimbursing two persons who had donated cash to a US Senate candidate from NY who was a longtime friend of D’Souza. He didn’t sell drugs or kill someone, he was caught the morass of arbitrary campaign finance rules, he quickly acknowledged his guilt, and could have gotten probation but for public remarks questioning whether there was selective prosecution of him as a Republican, for which the judge took offense.
continuing – He should have just run a bag of cash in $99 bundles through a Buddhist temple somewhere. If you’re going to do something like this you should study the Clintons and learn from the masters.
Convicted felon period. Quit trying to make a felon a victim, he is a crook.
When there is no controlling legal authority there is no crime. Al Gore taught us all that. I’m simply pointing out that the controlling legal authority only surfaces when it wants to, regardless of how mad a judge is when he hears that.
Don’t tell me what to do.
Folks, let’s extend a welcome [again] to the ever-petulant, Porter Lansing!
