Slightly good news on the GOP Chair race, Qualm was dropped on the first SDGOP Chair ballot.
Eschenbaum 94. Hayes 54. Qualm 49. Run off between Eschenbaum & Hayes. Needed 100 to win.

End of Qualm’s political life? One can hope he has received the message loud and clear now.
Lee’s supposed to be the most experienced candidate of the three. The room was full of far righters. These are supposed to be his people. And he got last place?
Turn out the lights, the party’s over.
That Dakota Scout Ad and hanging out in Pierre during session didn’t take him as far as he might have guessed.
I don’t know Jim Eschenbaum, but the other two turned me off with their pathetic campaigns for Chairman. To me, Qualm’s letters and comments gave us insight to his rather odd and extreme thinking. And Hayes put out the sloppiest material I’ve ever seen. I give him credit for trying but this is a state level office, not some county party office. If you’re running a state party, you can’t afford to be sloppy. Donors won’t donate. Candidates won’t ask for help because they can’t count on solid delivery. So that leaves us with Eschenbaum, and frankly I don’t recall seeing any campaign material from him. Hope he’s better than the other two.
It is better to not campaign at all and be thought incompetent than to produce a sloppy campaign and remove all doubt.
Mr. Qualm, whose Missus is an anti-vaxer of the Mega degree, is a less ept fellow than most. Even as a fellow witch, grudznick did not support him.
Was there an option for NONE OF THE ABOVE?
