  1. Too bad the POTUS didn’t point out that the problem, obviously, is there are too many women in Congress.

  2. I disagree with Dusty. I don’t see why these women should be offended because Trump was just commenting on their behavior. They are the ones that have been trash talking the President ever since they got elected. Instead of calling him a racist, xenophob, bigot, mother F***er and calling for his impeachment, maybe they should try working with him.

  3. Republicans are racist in the minds of the left for merely being alive.

That said I have no problem with Trump calling out those 4 fools, let the Democrat party/media circle the wagons and defend their actions.

      1. Dusty votes against Trump’s border wall declaration, votes against the Peace Corps and criticizes POTUS and we hear nothing from him about what those women have said. I too think he’s one and done, we won’t be voting for him again.

“So to see anybody from congress vote against the great concept of the Peace Corps is a shock, but to see our own congressman is really a shock,” Saba said. This is what the media reports, imagine the comments not being published.

    1. Is Dusty interested in being a party of the majority ? Local and national. His comments only endear him to his plurality. He deserves to be bounced.

  4. Dusty…..tell me what is inappropriate about these tweets……..
    Donald J. Trump

    @realDonaldTrump
So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly……

    Replying to @realDonaldTrump
….and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how….

Love his political incorrectness. It drives both sides crazy. lol

  5. No Dusty.

Rep. Omar belongs in jail. She should be fully investigated for immigration and tax fraud.

If found guilty, she should be sentenced to jail.

President Trump is right to call her out for her hatred of America and her complete life story fraud. It’s time to expose the Democrat Party for the liers, haters and frauds they are.

This is not about politics. We are talking about defending a President who understands how to defeat the Democrat haters and rage baiters.

    Get on board.

    C’mon Dusty. Open your eyes.

    1. Neal, why don’t you get on board with Trump and the Trump supporters of all parties of SD and run against him. Step up buddy.

  6. Spoken like a man who thinks the way to a career in Washington is to toe to establishment line. What a fool.

  7. I am very disappointed in Dusty. Apparently the people who hate Trump can accuse Trump and those of us who support him of being racist, homophobic, bigoted, hate mongers and worse, but if Trump points out their statements and lies, he is the problem!? No, no, no.

  8. The beautiful thing about this country is that they can leave if they do not like it.
Those unhappy, defiant “public servants” who are so unhappy with Trump, are free to leave. Please pack your bags. Good Bye!
    Shame on Dusty!

  9. These women are US citizens and members of Congress.

I’m all for making these vile, stupid Members of Congress accountable for what they say and do. I just think the President shouldn’t stoop to their level. He comes across as petulant.

  10. The spectacle of US citizens constantly complaining about the USA is bad enough.
But what we are seeing is four members of Congress complaining because laws passed by Congress are being enforced. They are also complaining about conditions at the border when, as members of the House of Representatives, they have the authority to appropriate funds to remedy the problems.
They have spent so much of time caterwauling in front of television cameras that they have forgotten it’s their job to fix these problems.
I saw this circus coming when AOC joined a protest outside of Senator Feinstein’s Office in November 2018. She had just been elected to Congress. She hadn’t figured out that once you are elected to Congress, you look really stupid protesting it. It’s kind of like standing in front of your own home, protesting something the occupants did.

  11. To bad Trump doesn’t have the support of SD politicians. Fortunately he has the support of the people of SD because we don’t cater to drama victims. SD and America first.

  12. look at the feedback here and on facebook Democrats are praising Dusty and Republicans are criticizing him…says it all to me

  13. Imagine that. I do believe there will be a Trump Conservative running against him.

  14. Please give us someone better than Tapio, Krebs or Dusty to support in 2020 for Congress.

  15. Troy,

It used to be that way until the media showed their true colors and came out of the closet.

The reason the radical Dems aren’t committing violence in SD is they would get their butt kicked.

  16. I don’t think Dusty understands the “war” we are in.

What is his response to the unconstitutional popular vote laws States have passed?

GWB tried to be a nice guy. That didn’t work.

Does Dusty agree with the anti-Semitic speech of these women?

I would say no. Why does he defend them then?

AOC and the rest got schooled in the testimony in Congress.

I am guessing Dusty wants to be a centrist, but I don’t think that is what the Country needs right now.

    1. Dusty spoke out against the bigoted language Omar used. He’s publicly criticized AOC and Omar numerous times.

His Heritage Action conservative score is higher than 95%. Let’s not act like this guy is anything other than a principled conservative.

On three conservative scorecards I just checked, he’s the most conservative member of our delegation.

        1. Cliff & 8:51 aren’t willing to tell us about the “conservative” Dusty’s score when it comes to conserving the Peace Corp, border security, the ladies room or women’s athletics. Why not? Because those facts show truth which shines Dusty in a light they don’t want to discuss.

Facts are a precious thing, I agree. What I find interesting is 8:51 didn’t include Dusty’s public quotes condemning Omar’s bigoted comments. I can’t find any quotes from Dusty where he specifically uses AOC’s or Omar’s name.

          1. Anon at 11:15…

            1. The Peace Corps has long been an expensive feel-good federal program that accomplishes zilch. It’s quite properly a conservative thing to cut this and similar waste.

            2. Rep. Johnson was against an executive order on border wall funding. Again, it’s conservative to defend legislative prerogatives and oppose executive overreach.

            3. Not sure what you mean on “ladies room or women’s athletics.” Enlighten me.

            4. Finally, Rep. Johnson’s response to the “squad’s” reprehensible bigotry regarding Jews and others is on the record. Naming them isn’t necessary.

      1. No one that I can see is questioning his conservatism. We are criticizing his ineptitude and cluelessness at politics. Absolutely zero to be gained by him saysing this stuff. ZERO. But hey Mitt Romney probably will like Dusty now. 💡 If he isn’t in DC to win, he needs to find another occupation.

  17. You can bet Trump misses Kristi Noem. Krebs would have never gone against our President. To have our lone congressman act like this is embarrassing. Borglum you picked the wrong guy to run against.

    1. Krebs and Tapio are both insane.

Good conservatives need to run this time against Dusty. He was the better of those 3. SD could still do a lot better.

      1. Can do SOOOOO much better. Clearly his political instincts are terrible. And when he says such stupid things publicly, he is actually hurting our state. Our lone rep need friends and allies in high places in DC. I wish someone could get that through to him. Swallow your Ego and STFU Dusty. Wise up!

  18. Apparently the Trump supporters give Trump a free pass for everything, including the reduction of integrity and lack of decorum coming from the office of the president. I hope they realize he is not being a good Christian and neither are they for supporting such childish behavior. Dusty is right on this issue. Grow up.

    1. Is it Christian behavior to cry racism any time anyone questions you? That is what the gang of 4 are doing. They even attacked their fellow left-winger, Pelosi.

I think that Omar should look at the opportunity this country has provided to her and stop thinking that she is the arbiter of all that is wrong with America.

      1. Awww, so the Christian way to respond to unChristian behavior is with more hate? Got it. Do you need anything else to justify bad behavior? As my mom said, if your friends jump off a bridge, would you? Apparently you should by your logic.

        1. You want to elaborate on your definition of Christian. There are so-called Christians who support abortion, encourage sodomy, hide illegal aliens and sexually assault children. Which Christians are you speaking of?

          1. In this case, telling American born citizens to go back to their countries because they look or think differently than you is really unChristian. It’s even worse when you consider they were born here. Trump is making his assumption on their home countries based on their skin color. He would have never said that to four white Democrats, you can bet on that.

            1. He told them to go back to the countries they came from and FIX those governments then come back and show us how it is done.

            2. I will grant that by that tweet, Trump did err in that three of the four are US born. One in particular is from a failed country. Another is the daughter of immigrants. Another is a daughter of people not far removed from Puerto Rico. Another one was raised in a way in which she was able to attend a prestigious school. All of these people have benefited from being in America, yet they find every excuse they can to badmouth the country that has helped them so much. I challenge anyone to tell me where Trump told these people to leave. He asked a rhetorical question as to why these people do not go back to their countries and fix their problems then come here and show us how it is done. All Trump is doing is saying what most of the rest of us are thinking.

              1. WRONG…….you are taking is words out of context…..For the record………Donald J. Trump

….it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!

            3. It has nothing to do with race, nothing. It has to with their own words. I am so tired of the word racist.

  19. Counting down minutes until “The Squad” comic books debut — portraying these four as Captain Marvel type super heroines. Probably USWNT soccer ladies make a cameo, plus Michelle Obama for good measure.

    4…3…2…

  20. Thune very weakly said he wished Trunp wouldn’t tweet so much, were you all equally outraged over that? Blind loyalty ain’t a good thing.

  21. Now that Krebs who is the worst candidate of all time is out of the way Tapio would have a shot against Dusty one on one. Dusty clearly isnt a conservative willing to take tough positions.

  22. “IMMIGRATION: Millions of Third World bandits enter our country illegally every year. The Republicans and Democrats do nothing to halt this massive invasion. America is being transformed into a new Mexico. The American Knights call for an end to this madness. We shall halt all immigration from non-White nations and use the U.S. Army to restore integrity to our borders.”— Is there ONE trumphole that disagrees with this kkk plank?

    1. Speaking as one who lived in the South, fought klan members hand-to-hand, and carries the scars to prove it, I’ll express several points of disagreement.

Unlike the kkk: I respect Jews, Catholics, Italians, Asians, & Irish. I respect Native Americans, African Americans, and Latinos. I don’t care who marries whom. I believe gradual, LEGAL immigration strengthens these United States. And, unlike Democrat Senator Robert Byrd as well as the VAST majority of his fellow klan members, I’m a Republican.

  23. Are you suggesting that a VAST majority of kkk members identify as Democrats and not Republicans? I’d have to see some data on that. The last clan rally that resulted in deaths wasn’t supporting Hillary. I don’t believe they have supported Dems for quite a few decades now.

    1. Yes, I am absolutely certain the vast majority of kkk members have been dems, as were the vast majority of American segregationists and slave owners. Thankfully, over the decades, a diverse coalition, including FBI agents, Jewish Americans, African Americans, and even Italian mobsters, battled & reduced the once vast terrorist organization down to a tiny hooded fragment of its former size. The kkk might have had as many as 6 million members back in the 1920s. They were overjoyed when Woodrow Wilson became president, and they backed the 18th Amendment, banning alcohol sales. In fact, 35,000 klansmen marched in DC in August of 1925. Cite:

“More than 35,000 Ku Klux Klan members marched down Constitution Avenue in Washington, D.C. wearing their Klan robes but not their masks. The march marked the high point of the Klan’s power, when it had a strong national presence and was almost as focused on attacking the Catholic Church as it was on African-Americans.”

      http://todayinclh.com/?event=klan-marches-in-washington

      1. Once again, I don’t think anyone is denying KKK members were predominantly Democrat up until shortly after blacks received the same rights as white people. Today, that isn’t the case which is why you are spouting stats from almost 100 years ago. I don’t think it’s safe to generalize Republicans for their following now, but I’m not going to sit here and act like they are voting Dem anytime soon.

        1. You make a reasonable point, but the question was about Democratic Senator (and klan member) Robert Byrd’s contemporaries. Everyone knows the klan backed democrats in 1916, 1920, 1924, 1928, 1932, 1936, 1940, 1944, 1948, 1952, & 1956. It had qualms about a Catholic, Jack Kennedy, in 60, but supported Landslide Lyndon in 64. The kkk loved Dixiecrat George Wallace in 68. Because Nixon won the south in 72, one might conclude that’s the year when kkk votes switched, but the numbers say it’s more complex.

In 72, Shirley Chisolm received just 3% of Democrats’ support. In 76, dems backed a smilin’ Southern boy, Jimmy Carter (Georgia being ground zero for the klan). Carter carried Georgia in 1980 as well. IMHO, that’s the last national election in which the klan vote mattered.

By 84, 18% of Dems supported Jesse Jackson. In 88, the Rev won 11 states. Few klan types liked Jackson, Mondale – Ferraro or Mike Dukakis. Jackson’s growing support mirrors the klan’s decline. Lingering kkk remnants abandoned the democrat party in the 80s, backing Reagan in 84, Bush in 88, & Perot in 92. Arkansas’ Bill Clinton, who’d executed Ricky Ray Rector, pulled some support from that demo. Slick Willie split the south in 96 (winning Florida, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Missouri), but then southern states elected Bush in 2000 and 2004. I doubt many klansmen voted dem in 08.

Thus, over Senator Byrd’s lifetime (1917-2010), klan voters supported Dems 3-4 times as often as Republicans. The vast majority of cross burning klansmen lived & died voting democrat.

Thankfully, the klan has been politically irrelevant since 1980, or 1990 at the latest. It still has enough vile, racist members to scream hateful gibberish & commit acts of violence, but it’s too small a bloc to alter national policy. Good riddance.

  24. Thune on Trump tweet: “I think the president needs to tone down the rhetoric, stop the personal attacks, rise above this kind of commentary and focus on the issues that matter to the American people.”

Why do the immoral far right find this to be a controversial position? Are they going to attack Thune with as much vigor as they did Dusty?

  25. When we lived in Georgia I was called a “damn Yankee” and told “go back where you came from.”

It’s not a racist comment. It just means if you aren’t happy where you are, you should leave.

The brainless bimbo squad says terrible things all the time then screams because Trump responded in kind and hurt their feelings. Nobody cares about their feelings. They can dish it out but they can’t take it, so they go off crying because that big man was mean to them.
They are really giving feminism a bad name. If they can’t take the heat they should get out of the kitchen. Let Real Women take their places.

        1. The other three were born in America. Convenient you pay attention to the only one that makes his argument make any sense even though he pluralized it.

          1. They weren’t born in Washington DC on the steps of the Capitol in front of the TV cameras.
They can go back where they came from.

            1. So they can remain in the US, which isnt what your bloviating edgelord of a president said. Keep tap dancing.

              1. He said they can go and fix their Countries that they came from meaning their families.

Why don’t you go and fix Somalia?

Please explain to us how his tweets were racist.

                1. So the country my great grandparents came from means I came from Germany, not the US. Yeah, you arent just making stuff up to cover for an idiot.

                  1. I’m German Russian. They came to the US before WW2.

You want to discuss those Countries?

The thing is I am saying America is better than Russia and Germany.

                    Are you saying that?

          2. We are all descendants of immigrants. I am including Native Americans as well.

The four all have one thing in common. They hate America.

It appears your reading comprehension of the tweets is lacking.

            1. And it appears you are just making stuff up and are trying to cover for Trump. I will never understand the backflips people perform to avoid admitting he said something stupid.

              1. He said the truth.

What was false about what he said?

I will bet you will not have an answer to my question.

  26. “In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot.”

      Marty Jackley would crush Dusty.

Ried Holien would be great also.
